Just a friendly heads up, the patch makes it so you cannot see current or past wars at the corporation level for other corps. For instance, my corp has had wars, but you cannot see them on other characters outside of corp.
Thanks to the BU community for noticing this.

I don't even understand how it managed to go this wrong, like what were they fiddling with to bork the entire standings and war system? I find it hard to believe UI changes did that. Dodixie > Hek |

The most common profession for Eve players is in IT, which is good because I'm terrible with that stuff. See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did. |

As a programmer myself, I find it hard to believe how so many bug slip through. Let me restate that. As a programmer currently stuck working on a large legacy project with little to no time set aside for testing I still don't understand how huge bugs like this slip through. Do they literally test none of their work? "In the age of information, ignorance is a choice." www.stateofwar.co.nf |

*Update*
Bios have been moved to the right of description instead of left. This causes people to not be default see your bio. The last tab you clicked will still be selected when you close one bio and open another.
This feels broken. See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did. |

There must be an insufficient amount of testing.
That said, legacy code can be a nightmare, especially if someone else wrote it, and worse yet, several other people wrote it with different conventions.
Advanced algorithms here, at least for now. |

CCP has lots of experience in jacking up the game, perhaps we'll make it out of beta in a few years...

You're not an actual programmer - you know in industry, are you? If you were, you'd know that it's entirely possible, no I should say probable, that new bugs will be found when switching out previously well tested and debugged code from one hardware platform or configuration to another (SiSi to Tranq).

Problems like these pop up all the time no matter the program. MS Windows is a perfect example.
At work even on the same model of computer windows never installs the 'same' way twice, we encounter different problems all the time.
So I fully expect a few bugs to occur during a major patch of EVE. If there weren't any found I would worry what was about to bite us in the ass.
It could be much worse the entire system could be unusable. |

That is why virtual machines are so big these days. Get Windows running just once in a VM and clone it indefinitely. All our Windows servers we set up for clients are actually VMs running on Centos but the clients do not know the difference. |

Personaly not displaying a corps war history is an awesome feature. Adds to the mystery of corporations not well known so keeping the war history hidden means you wouldn't know what you were getting into.
I like it. But should atleast be viewable to people in the corp, just not those outside it. |
