Hate you? No, that is too strong a word. Dislike intensely? Yea, probably. But you are one hell of a writer and I eagerly look forward to anything penned by you. You are mostly too smart for the good of the rest of us.

Ah, it's nothing major. I was just the first on my server to get taken to the "special area" for a sit-down with two GMs as a result of generating a shocking onslaught of grief complaints soon after PVP was enabled. I had rolled a kung fu/dual submachine gun expert and used it to great effect to reap a crimson harvest of players both above and below my level. Something like 1600 kill points when the next guy below me had only 700.
I played for the machine faction, and a lot of those kills came when I and a few other members of my guild crashed a supposedly secret and private meeting between the Zion faction and a leader played by an event actor, Niobe I think. We tried to kill Niobe but she disappeared the moment we burst in there with guns blazing, thus cancelling the meet and depriving the Zion of important intell - instead we settled with a good twenty kills in the office tower melee, and another thirty odd once our faction caught wind of the meet and the fighting spilled out onto the streets below.

Tell these good people what your characters name was.

Harr. I had my share of the special room as well, for less impressive deeds.. Man, that game was cool. Too bad it didn't have much real content other than awesome PVP. But to be honest, I didn't know the GMs could tell players to "stop killing people".
Yeah, so what was your character name?
Hm. I might have derailed the thread a little here. Sorry.

Why? GH-SC contributed more to Eve than most of us will ever manage. or bother.
'The Incident' that made the pages of amongst others PCGamer UK has, indirectly and entirely unintentionally, drawn a host of new players into the game desperate to indulge their darker MMO urges.
Besides - if you don't like the guy, don't reply. He loves the attention.

Edited by: Istvaan Shogaatsu on 31/03/2006 15:23:19 I'm not sure I should mention the part about my character name and what I did in the special room. I'm pretty close to being banned and this would definitely push the limits of good taste.
Let's just say I acted very special.

- It's really easy to get rich in Eve if you're a reprehensible dirtbag.
Not just in EVE, I suspect that you'll do quite well for yourself in RL.

Originally by: Boonaki I remember camping P3 with Fedakyn Naib(sp?) way back in the day, in warps Istavaan in a pod, warps right back out, after a few minutes convo in local I stated that I wouldn't shoot at him, in he warps in at about 80kish, Fed's 1400's make little work of the pod. Fun was had by both sides.
Dunno about this "Istavaan", but it wasn't Istvaan Shogaatsu seeing as how he's never been podded.
