I am getting started with my trading alt. I plan to do combination of inter-region arbitrage and station trading. What would be the best hub to trade at between Amarr and Jita? Here are the differences I see. I just want some advice from the EVE community before I go grinding standing.
Amarr: Character is Amarr, so I have good starting standing Better for my speed of station trading. Good turnover rate but not as quick/competitive as Jita
Jita: Very quick turnover OK for station trading, good for arbitrage because I can move stuff from Jita which is cheap to other reigons/hubs
Ok, what do you guys say?

Not sure why you ask the community. You figured out the difference between the two hubs. What's left as an excercise to you is to judge which of two fits your trade (play) style best. Something only you can tell.
That said, let me nonetheless make a suggestion/comment: Jita is a shark's pool. Avoid it at first until you've find out which trading style - you mentioned cross-region arbitrage and station trading - you prefer.

... can also be tested with Amarr instead of Jita and hauling goods to minor Amarr hubs (obligatory hub reference). After you've find out what comforts you best, move your business "up" to Jita. EVEWalletAware - an offline wallet manager. |

Jump into the deep end- go for Jita (for no other reason than to balance the advice given). Any colour you like. |

I am gonna go with Amarr for now, as I like the level of activity. I'm pretty new to trading, so I don't exactly know what style of trading I like, and Amarr can get the job done for most styles of trading.
Thanks for feedback! |

Hello
Depending on what you are trading and how much time you have, Jita might be the easiest considering the sheer trade volumes. That is of course if you want to fight in huge undercutting wars that last weeks if not months. |

Go with your standings.
