I'm brand new to EVE and I'm actually really enjoying it. I came here with the sole purpose to train social/trade skills to be able to sugar daddy my Dust 514 character (Michael Epic) and drop orbitals for my Dust corp in factional warfare.
I seem to be living EVERYWHERE lol I know how to move my inventory around and how to take things with me, leave things behind and all the basic mechanics but I want a centralized home base.
How do I get a home base? Somewhere all my ships are....all my stuff is and a place I can call home and possibly a place where my corp members could live too if they chose to do so.
Is that possible? If so how do I do it? |

Buy an industrial ship, put all your stuff in it and bring it to one station.
You can only move one fitted ship at a time so you'll have to make many trips. The best trick is to leave your ship and get in your pod, then dock in a station where you don't have any ships. You'll be given a free noob ship that you can use to fly back and pick up your next ship.
I think you'll quickly learn to embrace the scattered lifestyle however....moving stuff is boring www.ensignyooch.wordpress.com

If your in FW leave the majority of your stuff near a trade hub, and bring a small amount with you when you deploy into space somewhere chasing after your Dust bunny.
Amarr -> Amarr Min -> Rens or Hek Gallente -> Dodixie Caldari -> Jita
I also have stuff scattered around, but when I'm looking for something it's generally next door to a trade hub so I can easily fit out new ships, make purchases, or sell. I usually grab an Orca, a procurer, or just fly what I need if I'm headed somewhere for a while.
Edit: If you are transporting expensive things, it might be nice to have a 'not in FW' hauler pilot - it can be on your main account to stage stuff for you. Flying an orca to a warzone while you're in a militia is a recipe for a hilarious killmail. |

"Sugar daddy" your Dust character? I don't think the economies are linked in any way. Orbitals and local chat are the only connections I think. Unless something changed recently. |

It did....you can train up trade/social skills and send money from EVE to Dust. The exchange rate is killer though....600 million isk in EVE is like 60 million isk in Dust...however, some vets and current players are showing me how to make money quickly so I can do it.
But I looked at the industrial ships and it doesn't look like my ships will fit inside of it...can I put my FW destroyer inside of it? |

Industrials can't carry constructed ships. You need to repackage it. If you're just going to do orbital strikes - don't fit rigs and you won't lose anything. |

Welcome to Eve, hope you have a long and rewarding career.
Having stuff scattered all over the place is gonna happen after a while. Just make some time every once in a while to go collect up the stuff and take it to your main base of operations.

Yeah. Actually, flying an Orca into the FW areas will end in tears regardless of FW status.

courier contracts are great, get other people do do the boring work and move your stuff. plus most people will do them for almost nothing.
you can even put a fit ship in a courier contract, just watch out as they are quite large and you will probably need to make multiple contracts. You can trust me, I have a monocole |

just search for 'mobile depot' in the market...
be aware that other players can (and eventually will) find and destroy your depot. |

Maybe not even "eventually".

The mobile structure is more for storing some fitting changes and loot - not everything you have. The ORCA as mentioned above is a great tool for moving your stuff around. It can hold several fitted ships w/rigs + plus all your other stuff.
Or you can not worry about it so much. Sell stuff you don't need when you're ready to move. Alt-T will bring up a list of stations where you have stuff & allow you to search for items.

Really, that other thread about the exact same link gave you the answers. Why are you asking again in here?
Go with either the Depot the link is talking about...
