With the release date announced for Rubicon 1.2, will there be a rush on the drone combat sites? Also what impact will the new loot tables have? |

Could you provide a source for that? A quick google search did not reveal a release date for 1.2. Currently drone anomalies and signatures in high sec (can't speak for low or null) are almost useless. The 3/10 is bugged at the moment, and faction rats don't drop anything useful. So the changes might indeed be useful. On the other hand, with the drop rate being comparable to other pirate bpcs, I don't think the changes will make drone plexes and anomalies that more valuable. Just my personal opinion, but I guess there will be enough people running them, so we might see a price drop at least for the Astero and the Stratios. |

There's a dev post about making SOE blueprints (ships) drop in anoms.
But no, the nestor is a bad ship and it should feel bad. Unless you're already running drone anoms I don't think this is the shake that's going to bring all the boys to the yard. |

No. "CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"

Here is the source of the question?

CCP Rise wrote:Hello I made a small announcement last night on the 1.1 live stream but I'm sure many of you missed that so I wanted to make a post to let as many of you know as possible. We've been thinking for awhile about the issue of cost to power ratio for the Sisters of EVE ships, and especially the Nestor. A lot of your feedback has been on this issue, with a large focus on how difficult it is to justify paying the price of the Nestor, and we tend to agree. There are a few reasons we ended up in this position to begin with. The first is that we wanted to set the high sec LP offers for these ships above normal pirate faction LP prices. This still stands and the reason is very simple; you should get a better deal for pirate faction ships when you take the risk of leaving high sec. The second piece, which ties with the first, is that Sisters of EVE LP is very valuable because of demand for Sisters Probe Launchers and implant sets. That means the ISK conversion on ships like the Nestor would never be worthwhile as long as demand for probe launchers was higher, which will likely always be the case. Last, we could have tried to make the Nestor powerful enough to justify the huge price-tag. We really didn't want to go with this option and create a ship basically in a class of its own which would cause a lot of balance headaches. So, here's what we're going to do: starting in the next major Rubicon patch (which I don't have a date for, but is not very far off), Rogue Drones will start occasionally dropping nexus chips which you will be able to trade in at any Sisters of EVE agent for a one-run BPC of either a Nestor, Stratios or Astero. The chips will be called Rogue Drone 46-X Nexus Chip, Rogue Drone 43-X Nexus Chip and Rogue Drone 42-X Nexus Chip respectively, and they will drop at a very similar rate to other pirate faction BPC drops in null sec. This should provide a nice pressure valve for the prices on Sisters of EVE ships and also give a little boost to the drone regions, two things we are happy about. Have fun out there and take care of all those new people this weekend |

Id love to see Drone Combat Sig/Anomalies improved. Currently there is no incentive to run them. Bounties are standard NPC norm, but no loot and worthless salvage.

Good luck with that. Drone space is broken since the removal of the goo, and CCP is only making small steps towards improvements here. |

Without diving into the whole gun mining debate again, drone anomalies might have a bit more incentive to be run if there was a percent chance that instead of bounties, the drones dropped their old drone recyclables. The lore could be twisted that this group of drones were never noted by Concord and thus are the "old school" variety.
Just a thought. |

Just a thought. nobody cares about the lore. and gun mining is still a thing with other factions' rats and in lvl4 missions (where you can even sell the more valuable drops at the trade hub next door).
that said, going back to a nerfed version of the old state is not a good idea; it would be much smarter from a balance perspective to use the drone drops as a pressure valve for unwanted bottlenecks in the economy (whatever those may currently be).
