So I finally gotten back into EVE just been running missions building wallet ect... I am tempted to fire up so old accounts now and start mining. Few question about that what is an optimal setup for one computer I can run a lot of boxes but have to flip through tabs. I can sit sit in an Orca with my main and with some training he would be a good booster how many ships should I have with the Orca to make it worth while.
I want to plex all but my main account to keep cost down if possible how much mining a day would I need to say plex 3 account a month?
I also spent a large time updating my old spreedsheet just want some expert miner/refiners to eyeball my numbers to make sure I am good to go. This helps me to figure out what to mine or to refine ect.. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlGpE1RymCtNdGtIb0hyOVdCLXpJLVRGRXBuUFJXRWc#gid=0
Last question is were to mine I would prefer belt mining over ice just less to worry about ganker wise I dont mind having to travel to sell goods at least one my alts will be able to fly a freighter soon. |

I think its at like 4 barges that the orca becomes optimal, assuming decent but not perfect skills all around.
Not sure when the last time you played was, but ice mining is now more profitable, but still has issues with gankers. You will still have issues with gankers if you stay away from ice. 4 slot shield tank that orca and use damage control and bulkheads. Fit your retrievers and macks for max tank, or use procurers/skiffs. Don't use hulks. You can also set ganker corps red, starting with the alliance CODE, and whoever else appears on their killmails.
If you can freighter your ore to a refinery, the best thing you can do to avoid ganks is get far away from trade hubs and core systems as you can. "CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"

Thanks for the reply and advice maybe ill do skiffs if I do any ice even with worse m3 id rather plp just see a tanked orca and skiffs and go look for easier targets.
I dont need to be 100% optimal and running few accounts on one monitor can take some time to get my fleet moving out if I need to... |

3 mining barges + full orca boosts would yield around 1 million isk per minute mining ice (not counting hauling time). More mining barges per Orca the better. Ice anomalies regen 4 hours after being cleared.
Most everyone uses a Mack. Some Retrievers. Some of the multi-boxing fleets use hulks -- they really suck down the rocks, but tend not to stay in one system too long or they become a target.
If the system has been under attack lately the Procs and Skiffs will come out. I think many serious miners have more than one type of mining barge in their hanger.

ISBoxers aren't popular with other miners especially if they start clearing multiple belts in systems so be careful what you're doing.
Also remember that a small shield booster and a shield recharger is not a tank. And fitting three MLU is a recipe for disaster.
