Can we all have a moment of silence for our poor co-processors that we won't be using once the patch hits.

Interesting point to watch actually.
It will still be the best co-pro bonus.... just the best is no longer quite as good.
So is it still worth as much?

Nerf all the tech I to hell so we can roll in tech II to replace them......
So what is that, 2 more big nerf cycles to tech 5?
It is still the best processor though atm.

hmm.
So right now you have to use a module that adds 27% to your CPU, but you're stating that after the patch you don't have to use a CPU extender at all

You can have my Photonic the moment your pull it from my cold, lifeless cargo pod.
It WILL still be the best cpu enhancer (unless CCP pulls something sneaky). And my ships will still be in a CPU crunch, despite having Electronics 4, Weapon Upgrades 4, and every/anything that reduces cpu usage.
I can just about squeeze my current loadout on my tempest with a basic co-processor and the 100 extra cpu it's getting post patch. I'm still sobbing uncontrollably about my Rupture tho

That is what I'm saying. It's a waste of a slot. "Fixed" to the point of not being worth it. A basic co-pro is 6% and a photonic is 7.2%. That and the fact my current set-up uses only 491 CPU out of 540. My set-up pre-patch was like 684/687. I haven't tried a mining set-up. ----------------------------------------- Sig rented by Drethen Nerevitas. |

Perhaps you should not have relied so heavily on a module that was ridiculously overpowered.

That would be illogical. Why would you not use modules that were good? Am I to assume any time I find a good effective item or combination of items/tactics that it's "ridiculously overpowered" and not use it just incase? Or should I use the best items I can get ahold of and adapt as the game changes, hold a moment of silence for the useless item and move on? ----------------------------------------- Sig rented by Drethen Nerevitas. |

What ship is that? With the photonic nerf and the megathrons +100 CPU (elec level 4): 450*1.2*1.272 = 686 CPU (old) 550*1.2*1.072 = 707 CPU (new) Diff: 21 CPU for free. I won't be complaining
