As the official programming department said earlier:
Quote: The server code is in pretty good shape so thereÆs no problem patching the server. The client is still unstable after heavy surgery. As soon as the client gets reasonably stable, we are good to go.
The client has gone through a huge revamp making it more responsive and less laggy. A lot of cleanup has also been done in the core components of the client. All this will result in less memory leak, less memory usage, more responsive UI, and hopefully faster loading of in-space bubbles (warp-in lag).
Now what i didnt see in the patch notes is that if the client is more stable and maybe even suitable for larger warfar.
Can anyone, Pann, T0ri etc.. respond to this?
However i doubt since their all hard working on the patch.. __________________________

Thanks Dreamworks the haze is lifting now. Back when Pann disappeared or hid.
Two weeks ago hmmm. I hope the revamped client they spoke of is not the same as the one we've had for the past two weeks but is instead some new Ninja client update included with this patch.
I have yet to experience this.......

Chaos is ran on those old P3 machines they used for the beta. I don't think the chaos server really is ment to support more thne 20 players. LOL, they is no lag when its below 20.

Friend of mine tests chaos from time to time, he said recently chaos was a LOT smoother overal, but he couldn't say if it was because the client/game got better, or just some effect of the server being clean, unpopulated or something.
I hope it's true, I stopped playing a few weeks ago from real life nescessities, and just started playing again this past week now that my schedule cleaered up, and holy it's been laggy and choppy as hell!
I hope todays patch fixes this... But I wont get to tell until later on tonight!
