Hope their new album is better than their last one (or, La-ter-ral-us, it may not be their last one)... which won't be hard. That album made me wanna kick the crap out of my stereo. --- --- --- ---

Of course, I've seen the album on various torrent sites. Haven't downloaded it. TBH, I only listen to them live. *shrugs*

It's quite a good track, heard it earlier.
"Sober" is still my favourite by Tool though

Agree.
Eulogy and 46 & 2 are better than Sober
"You've claimed all this time that you would die for me. Why then are you so surprised when you hear your own eulogy" is one of my fav lyrics ever.
Oh and Vicarious is AMAZING, been listening to it on repeat for like 3 days now lol. New Petition Inc Vid |

Am I the only that wasn't impressed with it?
I found it sort of bland and repetative. No single part of the song seemed to be any different than another.
I'd place many Tool songs above this one.

I felt the same way. At first. It takes a few listens. But believe me, most of the tracks on the record are alot better (imho) than Vicarious. As for it sounding like Schism, in places, I thought the same thing. When you hear the whole record though you'll see that there are places all over the album that are references to other older Tool songs. I think they did this intentionally. The Pot sounds a bit like Prison Sex (same tuning anyway).
