Odyssey exploration means lots of new players or empire residents are going further into lower security when they wouldn't have a reason to before. So give the same opportunity for industrials and miners to go into null and wormhole without living there permanently, so they can do the grav sites the same way explorers do the relics and datas.
A cloaky ORE frigate for mining which will be the industrial equivalent of the Astero frigate for exploration.
Remove inherent +2 warp stability from venture hull. Leave gas bonus to venture only. MUCH higher ore bay than venture, for longer periods "away from home". Different yield than venture? Bonuses to ABCs? Cov ops cloak. More expensive than venture.
Also, it should be called the Dasher. |

It doesn't make much sense at all... the +2WCS bonus is already enough to go to null and low-sec if you watch your d-scan while you mine.
And the venture ore bay is already the size of a packaged cruiser, I don't think it makes sense to have a frigate carrying any more ore than that. Grav sites are not even that much profitable to make the trip worthwhile |

The warp stab in the hull doesn't counter the bubbles, you'd need either cloak or interdiction, and interdiction is just...too much.
Bonuses could make up for the profit. Also the profit isn't the total consideration but getting people who wouldn't go out to null to go there. 1 month olds are not winning all the hacking games for sure, but they are still going out anyway.
In the last few months in null I have seen like 50 freelancer explorer in Astero or Covops. Sometimes an Imicus or whatever, but they are most likely gonna "move up" to the T2 or astero once they are skilled or rich. In this case I'd say imicus was on par with venture for their professions, something to move on from. The static system players can move on the barges, players who live to travel move onto this new cloaking frigate.
Ventures in null? Seen about 2. they're not using it to go there for whatever reasons.
Exploration has it very good at the moment. you can go for days before filling your cargo up with (worthwile) loot before going back to a trade hub. I think miners could use the same opportunities as explorers. |

Newsflash kiddo. Mining is not supposed to be perfectly safe. And perfectly safe mining is exactly what you demand. My Condor costs less than that module! |

I don't think he said he wanted to mine while cloaked so there is still risk there |

Because that is a perfectly appropriate name for a ship that will spend the majority of its time sitting in the same place shooting lasers at a stationary object. "CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"

the are other ways to deal with bubbles other then cloaking. and cloaking is not an I win button for organized bubble camps. your inherent +2 warp stab + MWD + a little wit will get you through often enough to make it profitable. |

Also was the original name for the venture. I don't think a name like that should go to waste. |

out of curiosity, I did a quick run up. Venture has plenty of CPU. The prototype cloak fits fine, you could fit ECM or Invuln field II, gas sucker or miner IIs. I went for speed and align over tank, because tank sucks no matter what and you need to be able to warp quick. ECM burst just to see if it fits. Plenty of CPU left over. EFT is your friend. you could do better then this fit easily. for istance drop scanner add 2 invuln or second ecm. 2800+m/s or just shy of 500 m/s with cloak on, not horrible.
