thanks but there is no way anyone is going to get access to my personal info. IMO api checks should be against the rules. there are forums for reporting spies awoxers.

As a fellow nullsec marketeer, I also wish you luck. You will find very, very few null-sec entities that would not have this requirement, particularly in light of their comparative vulnerability. I suspect most such organizations do not live long.
However, it seems you over-estimate the liability that a standard full-API check provides, while also over-estimating how useful those forums you mentioned are. While no one likes distributing a full-API, and few recruiters enjoy requiring it of their prospective recruits, this ubiquitous custom persists out of need.

If you ever decided to join a null sec alliance we will need a full api key. Its standard across the board for all major alliances. The api does not give out "personal" information. It only gives out eve related information. Like your skills and your journal. CCP will not change their policy on API checks because this is one of the reasons they created apis, to allow third part devs to access them . |
