Saisa, Summit.
I come to you all this evening as a fresh faced pilot barely out of graduation, tearfully moved my my new friend's sad story of someone he lost long ago. After reviewing his situation, I feel as though I may be posting this in vain, yet I am hopeful that someone here remembers who it is I am searching for, and can perhaps point me in the right direction. Even if what you know is trivial in nature, I would very much appreciate you sharing it with the IGS.
You see, despite the fact that I am a new pilot and still trying to find my place in the cluster, this gentleman took me in and gave me employment among other things. I will not name any names, but I am very grateful and during our conversations, he told me of someone whom he missed dearly, someone who vanished long ago.
Now, as I said before, this is probably going to be an exercise in futility, but I felt the need to try, just in case.
So, if any of you have seen, or remember meeting and talking with Ms. Vectra Sharpe, could you please mail me with any details in helping me to further locate her? Or perhaps through your posts here, she may see them from some far off world. I would like to repay my new friend's generosity and this would be a most amazing gift and token of my appreciation.
Thank you all for your attention to this matter. |

Have you tried speaking to the corporation she's listed as a member of?
They were actively flying around four months back, although the records regarding the pilot you mention cease around a year ago.
Anyway next time we're rollin' our hole I'll be sure to keep my eye out. Good luck Miss, and welcome. Major (Ret.) Caldary Naval Militia | Morale Officer (Pinup model) Just an innocent explorer!-á pâä | -áWormhole Sisters of EVE Herrbert: "womwomwowmwoaugharwajwowoooommm"

I remember talking to her in passing a couple of times, but aside from that the only advice I could give you is to suggest you consult a locator agent - which, while not neccessarily telling you her actual whereabouts will certainly give you the location of the last place in which her pilot's lisence was invoked for docking or jump clearence. I wish I could offer something more useful than that.
If you don't have access to a locator agent or lack the neccessary ISK to consult one, I would be happy to do so on your behalf. Mane 614

Mr. Ixiris, that is a very kind offer. If you could send me a private mail concerning finding such an agent, I will look into utilizing their services. I will also do as Ms. Dusette says and contact the corporate entity she is listed as being employed by. I received mail from a pilot claiming to know some of the people who operate under their banner, and hopefully, that will yield good results. I am not hopeful, but I would like very much to find out more about what happened to this person. |

Welcome. Ms. Harukai, I do not know this pilot Ms. Sharpe which you speak of, however I commend you in your efforts to look for her.
All of the advice you have received so far is sound, I'm sure you are exploring any leads you may come upon.
Looking at the available information on GalNet I am confident that she has not chosen to terminate her last clone. Which leads me to believe she may simply have decided to retire from Capsuleer life. I did so myself for several years.
Good luck in your search. And Welcome. |

Thank you, Ms. Marquette, but I'm unsure of what to do with this information. Is this her last known whereabouts, or perhaps a good place to find an agent?
I'm currently pursuing all leads available at this time. Things are actually looking kind of promising, surprisingly enough. I will keep all interested parties updated. |

That would be, as I said, the last place which her official CONCORD-registered pilot's license was invoked - in this case, most likely for docking rights. If she used either of the normal means of capsuleer egress from that station - undocking or activating a jump clone, in this case - she would have been required to use her license to authorise them; for undocking, she'd have needed to provide it for undock clearence, and for jump cloning she would have been required to provide it to gain access to her hangar in the station she jumped to. Generally CONCORD keeps track of capsuleers if they leave the station by other means, but since you don't need to use your pilot's license to, for instance, board a shuttle, it's far less absolute. In many low-sec jurisdictions in the Federation and the Republic, for instance, you aren't even legally required to present a valid form of ID before boarding a transport, and in any case there are... less scrupulous services available on nearly every station regardless of security level that provide money-up-front, no-questions-asked, no-records-kept transport to pretty much anywhere you need to go.
If someone doesn't want to be found, however, there's no guarantee that she ever left the station. Most stations are so gargantuan that if you're clever, determined and careful enough, you can find a place where no-one will look or even think about for years.
Either way, if you want to find Ms. Sharpe, that's the best place to start looking. Mane 614

That does help, Mr. Anslo! Any little bit counts. I have received word on who I may contact to learn more about what happened, but as of now, I have found no major clues on my own and am simply awaiting word from people who are claimed to have known her. I will mail Ms. Mai-Lan and see what becomes if it. |

I am ashamed to have had this plea for help escape my attention for so long, despite her last known sighting to be somewhere close to my area of operations, and indeed with a corporation I have experience with.
Ms Harukai. It is quite possible that your missing young lady has chosen a career within the NOH development studio, and quite simply does not wish to be found. The NOH corporation offers many opportunities for such fresh faced young woman. It wouldnt entirely surprise me if this is the case!.
Why, I am sure she is being given a tour of the stations facilities and all the 'in and outs' of a career in NOH. Infact, instead of assuming the worst for Vectra, she may be having a great time and pumped full of enthusiasm at her new choice of career!
The initial weeks of familiarization for such a person into NOH can knock them flat on their back with exhaustion, so the lack of communication may simply be due to that!
I will give this matter my full attention.

I'm aware of this, Ms. Nico, and I am making very good progress in finding her on my own, surprisingly enough. Her former coworkers have been gracious enough to steer me in a very helpful direction. However, I do appreciate your advice and should my current venue of information prove fruitless, I will take your council. |

I am happy to report that I have had good fortune in locating Ms. Sharpe, therefore I will be closing my investigation and moving on to other ventures. To all of you who assisted me in gathering clues, I offer my warmest thanks for your help. I can honestly say I would have never been able to pull this off alone.
Now, whether or not Ms. Sharpe intends to return to space remains a mystery to me, as I have only determined her location, not her intentions. Only time will tell, I suppose. |
