Good Evening everyone,

On behalf of ECP Rogues I would like to notify NEWO that we have now completed our contract, we now move on to initiate work for our new client. I would also, on behalf of ECP, like to congratulate NEWO on its conduct. We were never smack talked and all contact with them was friendly and open.

Yes NEWO spent alot of time hiding, but in the short time we have fought them, this is because quite clearly they are an empire industrial corp. At no point did we see any evidence of any piratical activities or indeed the capability to perform such operations even if they wished too.

We wish NEWO well and the war should end in 24 hrs, at which point hostilities will end and we will leave the areas of thier operation for our latest contract.

I want to add my .02 isk worth.

In my opinion, the alt calling himself "Brutus Escariot" is not a non-native English speaker as he appears.

Several inconsistencies in his posts appear to point to him being a Native speaker pretending to be non-native with a poor command of the English Language.

If you were to carefully re-read his commentary you will notice that(with one exception) his spelling is spot on. Not only that but his syntax appears to have been intentionally "Dumbed Down".
I once used to present English as a foreign language classes and I will be the first to admit that my spelling is terrible. In my experience, foreigners who have managed to gain the level of spelling he displays have all advanced far beyond the level of making grammatical errors on that scale. Witness his correct(90%)use of punctuation for example.
Also he avoids all the most common mistakes made by non-native speakers. In short he appears to be trying to come across as a foreigner(non-native English speaker) whilst in fact he probably is.

Also: His Nick is just a little too sharp: Two of the most famous traitors in Western History combined?
Hmmm?

Note: Western History that is.
Oh and I could be completely wrong, but in this case I suspect not.

That's the fifth war this month. Four different sets of mercenaries, And this time, it's an entire alliance versus a single, small, industrial corp. We've managed to fend for ourselves so far, but the damage is leaking through our hulls to our spirits. Strange, isn't it? Every merc we've spoken to so far has made reference to a mysterious client with unrealistic extortionate demands centering around our starbase. They say they too are in the dark as to the true identity of the client, or what offence we have given them.

I doubt extortion or "empire piracy" is the real motive. It would surely be more profitable to roam belts for a few hours ransoming victims than to hire multiple corps of mercenaries camp stations for days. This feels more personal than that. It has escalated as far as the (brief) deployment of a Dreadnaught against our starbase, clearly intended more as a tactical manouver to draw out a paniced fleet than a serious attack. That can't be cheap.

The other possibility is that somewhere there is a smoky room in which our name is being passed round on a list of possible Empire targets. If so, there must be other corps on the list. Perhaps they would be interested in collaborating with us?

We want to bring the war to a swift, decisive and above all final conclusion. We are willing to negotiate, but only to the true face of our agressor. No surrender to faceless cowards.

Serious advice and offers of combat assistence, alliance membership or intelligence gratefully recieved. Frankly, I'd rather fight in 0.0, if it were our home territory.
