My question is simple :
there is a way to know personal exact standing toward a faction ? (ie more than 2 decimals)
I m asking because i am close to 10.00 and now it is very very slow to raise. |

I know third party tools like eveboard show personal security status to 14 decimal places, so I would imagine the data for faction standings must also be available to great precision that 2 decimal places.
Hopefully someone chimes in and helps you, but if no one here can, perhaps a support ticket might help, though by the time it is answered, you might already be >10.
Not too helpful, but maybe one of the other 3rd party tools is worth poking around at too. Evemon for example. eve-bazaar - Discount prices on ships and PLEX. Real savings to drive your ISK further. |

well i just tried evemon and eveboard, but, sadly, standing is limited to 2 decimals too, for both.
thanks you anyway, i will try a support ticket, good idea. |

Another option, though I don't know if it's appropriate to suggest him or not, but you could try a message to Chribba.
If he is able to help he'll be faster then a support ticket, but at the same time, he's not a replacement for CCPs official support.
You never know, maybe he'll see this thread and post a response. eve-bazaar - Discount prices on ships and PLEX. Real savings to drive your ISK further. |

I can't check it right now, but can't you see it in more detail using the transaction history or whatever it is called for standings? GÇ£If you're not willing to fight for what you have in GëívGëí you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.GÇ¥

Being a float, the 3rd party tool would have to calculate it to the same number of decimals as the code in Eve's server. |

You can just see changes in this windows, with percentage but not resulting standing.
A long time ago, if i remember well, in 3th party tool, you could see the exact standing, but it seems it is no more possible with it.

I seem to recall that you could, but I also (vaguely) remember them fiddling with it so maybe they've just decided that it should be low-precision for some reason. well thanks you all for your help.
Last hope, i have made a support ticket.
And yep tippia, my last option will be to track when i will have 9.98 standing (meaning 9.975+), and then calculate it by myself with transaction history. |

well i found it, you can still see it in eveHQ :
Pilot info > Standings. For some reason in "raw standing" there is just 2 decimals BUT if you right click on it "extrapolate standing", there is a line "curret base standing" with a lot more decimal ! yay

That shows only the Percentage change from missions and storylines.....out to 4 decimals I believe. "He has mounted his hind-legs, and blown crass vapidities through the bowel of his neck."-á - Ambrose Bierce on Oscar Wilde's Lecture in San Francisco 1882 |

Wow. Thanks for reminding me of that.
I was 10.0 to the Ammatar Fleet and Ammatar Consulate, but was still at like 9.98 to Ammatar Mandate Faction. IIRC it still took about a month of occasional mission running to get that last .02. 'Tis indeed slower the higher the standing (but look what it does to the opposing faction standings ) Had to eventually "repair" those. That's because any faction change is given as a percentage of the difference between your current standing and the maximum it can take you in that direction.
To reach a perfect +10 or -10 you need a rounding error. |
