I'm just gonna let this pass without comment:
http://blog.sfgate.com/dailydish/2014/03/14/lady-gaga-storms-sxsw-with-hog-roast-and-vomit/
"Gaga kicked off the show by roasting herself on a spit as her dancers basted her with barbecue sauce, she then invited performance artist Millie Brown onto the stage during a rendition of her track Swine."
"Brown, who is described as a GÇ£vomit painter,GÇ¥ swallowed a container full of green liquid before forcing herself to be sick over the stage. The Brit then vomited a black liquid onto the singerGÇÖs body." Well....she calls it art.
But honestly she has managed to plagiarize just about every single cliched trope from the 1980s New York Performance Art scene (see Annie Sprinkle).
And her old Meat Dress was stolen outright from Bjork.
There is nothing original or interesting about her at all. On top of the bad music. "He has mounted his hind-legs, and blown crass vapidities through the bowel of his neck."-á - Ambrose Bierce on Oscar Wilde's Lecture in San Francisco 1882 |

Is there any pop star thats original or has good music these days? I have yet to see one. People, who talk, don't know. People, who know, don't talk.

Seriously.
There just isn't anything original out there. Dubstep ? Please...........
I just stick to the older acts that I love (even so, whoever thought a collaboration between Metallica and Lou Reed would suck, but it sure did).
I just stick to my anonymous but interesting Prog House with minimal if any vocals (particularly the DJ Nick Warren). https://soundcloud.com/djnickwarren/sound-garden-dec2013
The only ones resembling a "group" that I find fantastic is Hybrid. Even my elderly (80s) parents like them. And I was honestly impressed with the disco homage that was Daft Punk on their latest album.
But that's about it for me. "He has mounted his hind-legs, and blown crass vapidities through the bowel of his neck."-á - Ambrose Bierce on Oscar Wilde's Lecture in San Francisco 1882 |

I actually enjoy severely Arany Zoltan-¦s attempts to collect traditional folk music from several places in the world
I also have a secret fetish with "traditional" Georgian Music
These dances are called Khorumi and they are excellent to my tastes, also, being a fan of most things Georgian (culturally) I love the women dancing Nar Nari or ]Mipatigeba , they practically glide on the stage using the rhythm of the music. Watching Maidens in white gowns gliding on stage is a feast for the eyes
I also enjoy folk voice ensembles from Georgia , a wonderful country I plan to visit ... again, pretty near if you happen to be in Turkey.
As a bonus enjoy the promo video for Georgian Legend ,a video that aims to show a country rich in story, like someone told me if you taste fruit there, no other fruit will ever taste the same and I can agree to a point.
Yep I love traditional music Inner Sayings of BrujoLoco: http://eve-files.com/sig/brujoloco |
