Hey guys, i am relative new to this game and i am loving the indy path. I am concidering to put most of my assets into some nice and expensive BPO's. Another question has rised together with this; how can i secure my BPO's as good as possible while having the BPO's under research or in a manufacturing job?
I do not know about corp management or pos roles, but it can be somewhat complicated as i understand it. I have been thinking about this and two possible solutions comes to mind;
1. Is it possible to install the manu/research jobs directly from my own hangar? In this case any cancel or delivery would result in delivery to my own private hangar.
2. If corp hangar must be used to install manu/research jobs, can it be set up that only the installer can cancel or deliver a job? I can live with a CEO or something having this possibility as well, but i would rather not have all corp members having the ability to cancel or deliver my jobs, puting my BPO's and/or goods in risk of theft.
I am usually a guy that trust people, but eve is after all a game where history shows that you really should not trust anyone, so i would really appreciate any feedback for how i can secure my BPO's while using corp POS.
Thank you guys.

No. A corp hangar must be used.

No.

The "Factory Manager" role is needed to view, cancel or deliver corporation jobs.

The safest is to use npc slots or make a corp and set up POS' of your own. |

Only the installer or a director can cancel a job, anyone can deliver it when it is complete.

The "Factory Manager" role is needed to view, cancel or deliver corporation jobs. This is incorrect. It was changed in Odyssey 1.0.3
Odyssey Patch Notes wrote:The roles required to cancel a corporation job have changed. The only people who will now be able to cancel a corporation job will be:
* The person who started the job. * A director within the corporation.

putting your assets into expensive bpos is risky when you're new and basically relying on the trust of someone else to not take your stuff. Or even once I had a CEO just up and biomass and it took a month of email trading with his appointed successor to get my bpos back. Take advantage of the pos by getting a lot of cheapish bpos (ones still profitable to produce) and researching all of them. I would stay away from anything more expensive than a t1 cruiser bpo. "CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"

The simplest option is to form your own corporation and assign all shares of the corporation to your CEO character. If you like the people you are currently with, form an alliance and have them join it in a separate corporation.
As it stands the current role and corporation management system is too cumbersome to give any advantage over a one man corporation model.
