I've heard rumors that Minmatar FW is almost non-existant these days. It's even been suggested that Amarrians soon will turn against each other in order to find targets. Since I'm looking at getting involved in FW, I wonder if there is any truth to this? |

As you can see, we are not dead :)
At the same time I haven't seen cruiser size amarr fleet for ages (if they do exist please tell where we can find them). Currently we getting more fights from local pirate groups (DBD, Suddenly, Sex-Panther) because they know their **** and don't whine (well, almost).
Minmatar do deliver good fights if you bring something that worth undocking. And since we have extremely high traffic in huola/kourm area we don't have to go far away from our home system/reships. So we are where fight are.
Defending warzone against swarm of stabbed plexing alts is boring and frustrating.

It won't last to long.....its a lot of work to keep t3/t4 from an active group..... You get burned out and in the back of your mind you would like a break and like to see the prices change up a bit at t1.
They are going to do some roams. Some fights and dink around. You just don't see them plexing. Also the alts left....
In a month or so they will get s wild hair and start hitting a few systems and momentum will slowly change. As amarr I'm already bored to tears of the LP. Earned almost 800k in two hours last night..... I know I'm not dplexing lol |

It feels that on the amarr side there nothing but farmers left now. Now after Biohazard joined the Amarr, flipped a few systems to feel relevant and then failed hard to hit tier 5, the pendulum is starting to swing back.
It's about time anyway, i'm set for life on **** cheap amarr faction ships.
On the other hand, the area is incredibly active with local pirates, neutral gangs and all sorts of people. We're having lots of fights and lots of fun. There's just no reason to even go further than 2 jumps from Huola. pew pew |

I'm looking at these KBs, and most of the Gallente corps I know have 2x as many kills. Minnie/Amarr is more farmville than Gallente/Caldari is. And you get more variety of ship hulls to fight than what you face in Minnie Warzone.

JUSTK Killboard
If you pull up DotLan, you can see that almost 800 ships and pods have died in Enaluri in the past 24 hours. This isn't at all unusual in the Cal / Gal warzone, especially when a push is being made on an occupied system. The Oicx offensive, which finished on Sunday, featured more than 1200+ per day for almost a week.
If you look at DotLan's monthly stats, you'll see that the Cal/Gal warzone regions of Black Rise, Placid and Essence are #2/3/4 in ship kills for the month of March so far, and The Citadel is #7. Moreover, you can see that there's been more ships killed in Oicx than any nullsec system, and 4 more Cal/Gal systems are also in the top 10 - all of which have more kills so far this month than 9/10 of the top nullsec systems.
Cal / Gal FW is where you go for PvP, hands down. |

How can the warzone be quiet when Gal/Cal yields 2x as many kills than Minnie/Amarr month after month? Opening up the FW window ingame will show those numbers.
As for entities outside of militia, you have Waffles, Balex, UCF, Harlequins, Eve Uni,and many smaller gangs at the 5-10 man size. Of course, most of the bigger entities have their batphones so it may be a bit too much for a small corp to take on head on. And don't forget that Syndicate is next door and full of skirmishes if you like to roam.
There are a couple of Caldari FCs who can herd enough cats to get a fun 20 man Drake gang or 30 man T1 cruiser gang on a weekend. I don't think you get that often enough in Minnie/Amarr.
Admittedly, it is possible that Minnie/Amarr could be on the upswing again with BNI only being a dozen jumps away and all the attention they attract. High Five. Yeah! C'est La Eve . |

Seems a lot less farmy than it used to be. Justified seems to be pretty comparable to some of the Minmatar KBs linked above, of order around 1bn ISK / month / member, or a bit above. Better than some sure, but not worlds apart.
As others have pointed out a lot of the PVP in min/amarr is with 3rd parties rather than strictly FW, which I guess leads to the variety in ships.
Not really sure why there is a debate on this though, its pretty clear there is a lot of PVP in space, which warzone is better is a bit irrelevant really. This is not a forum alt, this is a forum main. |

Considering you cant even keep you pocos alive from fleets half your size i dont see you hitting any hubs. Now that bio have left Amarr will constantly stay high as the rest of Minmatar don't leave huola.

JUSTK does a lot of occupancy warfare, both defending home systems and assaulting occupied systems. Not entirely sure why 100+ man frigate brawls over novices "don't count", but whatever floats your boat. |

Most of these threads, Amarr/ Minmatar are unhappy with the status quo of FW. Cal/Gal say it's fine. It's definitely diseased on our end. Both sides are pale shadows of what they used to be a year ago.

I agree it's definitely diseased on your end. Corps like Biohazard, TISHU and many other entities who can just come in and farm for a couple weeks really add to the problem. It will take years, if even, for prices to stabilize for Amarr/Minnie.
It's really no different on Cal/Gal but I think the abundance of targets, bigger warzone, and 3rd parties help alleviate the issue for us. Your 70 system warzone and just a few pipes really exacerbate the problems there. High Five. Yeah! C'est La Eve . |

This..... we left gallentes and joined minmatar for a year at first it was great but after a while targets dryed up and wasnt really that many third partys to fight either we ended up poking Fendy and the coalition of anti pirates in metro for fights, space is too small and way too many bottlenecks due to lack of pipes
Thats why we came home we missed our gall bros but also grew bored of the space and the same old roam for a fight over here u can go lots of diff ways and run into diff entitys daily

That's basically it, we have plenty of third parties in the area to play with when the amarr are being lame.
Most of them bring decent fleetcomps that actually work, too. It provides something worth fighting, even if there's a bunch of useless smelly basement dwellers floating around the other side of the grid in talwars. I guess for amarrs, being spectators to fleet fights is better than getting rofltomped in them :3

Maybe this kind of stuff has something to do with it?
Look at the Enaluri Retirement thread in this forum. GalMil is invading a CalMil held system, with the full intent to force them out of their recently occupied home. And yet, the smack talk is generally upbeat, there's friendly banter back and forth, and genuine respect from each side to the other for bringing fights and each other's abilities.
I don't see that often in the drama llama fiesta Min/Amarr threads. It's all about who's not pulling their weight, who's not undocking, who runs the most, who's awoxing whose towers, blah blah blah.
Could be that the environment / culture down there is just worse overall. If you're not throwing "gf" in local even when you get hotdropped and roflstomped, perhaps you ought to start. |
