How cool would it be if Eve Dust had a PVE element. If Eve Dust became like Entropia, and Eve Online became a battle of the landlords. The Eve Universe has alot of planets and moons , and all of that real estate could matter and add a whole other game to play.
If Dusters could erect bases, search for mineral deposits, and build resources to sell, it could become an important interaction between Eve Online and Eve Dust. Could you imagine if Eve Dust had a PVE element where you could kill npc and AI bots. Take down bases and win stashes and stockpile resources.
Could you imagine being the Eve online player who setup a dust base. What if Dust were like entropia, where you could invite dusters in to kill planetary spawn and sell stuff to your base. What if your base could offer missions to Dusters. For example an allied PI installation is being attacked by wild beasts. Other then ratting players could be organizing battles and looting other bases. You could use your base to buy and sell to dusters. A corp could build a base and use it daily to do dust missions like slaying NPC pirate bases and installations.
Moon minerals are so powerful they could cause wars. What if moon miners could increase their production by setting up moon bases. Moon mines don't completely protect the surface of the moon. What if I had a duster and setup a rival base on a moon after finding rich deposits. If I had a Dust team , raiding these moon bases could be one of the most profitable things to do. Having an Eve online fleet to escort the product off the moon would be important too.
How could Eve online corps use Dust? Let's say we Eve Onliners could launch probes onto planets to search for pirate activity. This process builds up an eve dust mission that you can do for a profit. Get together with your corpies and take out a few npc bases. You could have daily missions that increase production on your planetary PI bases, like killing local spawn. A duster could solo this. A Eve online player could send a scout into enemy territory, and launch scans till he finds a good planet or moon to raid. Then when everyone in dust is grouped up, launch an attack raid on their resources. A frigate could drop some planetary vehicles to get the dust group started. Their mission will be to disable the remote defenses before a defense team shows up. Dust will auto recruit conscripts for defense, and any of the factions allies could join in for the defense. The attacking forces must have space support for a raid to be successful. The attacking force must load up containers to be shipped off. The defense must destroy the containers before the enemy can launch them. Space support can drop needed equipment to Dusters. Dusters may continue to unload the base as long as it remains undefended.
How will dusters play eve? They may choose to stay with certain factions or groups, or conscript to get a random battle. They might try the PVE element and join a corp. Though I think many of the dusters will only want to play dust and therefore will always look for battles. But once that duster takes a look at the bigger picture, and becomes interested in the politics behind the battle they can be given a chance to engage this element. Make it important to know eve online players. An Eve online player could mean getting profitable missions on faraway planets. Knowing an eve player could make that happen. If the duster has a whole team roster, he could be a major asset for an Eve Corporation.
Will A duster ever want to mine on a planet or a moon? The answer could be Yes. If they fished those pricey ingots, or found a load of spice. That kind of resource builds wealth. Eve Online players could enjoy the excitement of raiding a planet and escorting the goods back to station. This would be fun

From the Eve hanger I jump into my dust clone, suit up and roll into a quest. There's a story on the roll and I'm playing a role. Got pirate factions, and alien takeovers, factories to defend, and places to go.
A storyline Action Adventure series would make this go large. A very good storyline can be forged in space. Take a look at the Freelancer series, if you haven't played it the storyline is great. What if Eve Dust took a Star Wars approach, with lightsaber swords and rich story driven action between alien factions. We need some cool alien creature that we can love and revere like Yoda. We need a race like Sasquatch or the Wookie. We need a pirate race with a snake like face. Wouldn't it be cool if you started training a Dust clone, then after flying your eve spaceship you can go to your hanger and jump clone into a dust mission. You could drive a story that could make one feel like a cosmic Indiana Jones, where one hunts for a relic. You could Drink Quafe on a desert planet before disabling a base and loading precious cargo. You could give the player an action adventure as he joins various factions for various reasons.
Imagine Jita, the first naval academy trains in war for peace trade and industry. The constant battle between the Jita navy and pirate scavengers on the barren planet. This spot has the most battles that any have seen and most people who fight have trained there. The industrialists who have held onto factories on this planet pay a premium for protection.
Imagine being a pirate. Before a battle begins you must gather everything you will launch onto the planet from planetary vehicles to entire bases that are defensible. You got your vehicles and 2 storage containers with a total of 10km3. You take your team and take down the bases defenses with a tank. You kill any defensive units on the board then load up your containers with the goods. Jump clone back into the station, hop into my ship then go to the coordinates where I launched the goods into space and pick them up.

Dust Alien worlds could be quite a project.
How many NPC races can we make of an alien fashion? Pygmy Crocodiles are like a bad trap set on your base. These little crocs will leave a set of teeth that work like a trap that snaps on your feet. They will run right at your feet and try to take them off if you don't shoot it first. The big ones are tough. They can stand upright and bite off your head or swollow you whole. A pygmy crocodile can invade your base leaving it like a nasty trap. Their hides are hard enough to make some excellent armor, and their teeth are like a razor sharp necklace designed to snap into someone. These two things make it useful killing these swarms.
A nest of them would be like 20 assorted crocs. 10 Razor tooth traps 2-8 big crocs with large hides.
The croc hides can have a value associated with the armor that can be made with them. Doing a few of these could mean stocking a base with armor.
