I returned to EVE a month ago now after a hiatus of a couple of years. Unfortunately, the first month back was a hard one: 8 lost ships, and I'm not a PVP pilot. That's almost as many ship losses as the entirety of my EVE career going back to 2007.
So, I'm wondering if the game has gotten harder or if I've just been unlucky. I used to explore and travel through low sec all the time, and I didn't have nearly the ship losses I've had since returning. Follow me on Twitter at @FigaroDevars |

EVE is a lot harder since the stimulus package and the new, high fiber - low red meat diet. It lasts longer, too. I have sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility toward every form of tyranny over the mind of man.-á |

Its definitely not the first one, and its probably not the second one either. "CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"

Context would be helpful and might invite less of the inevitable trolling.
Gatecamps? Bombers? Interceptors? NPC's rocking your world?
Are you flying in null, mostly LS?
The dynamics of EvE have changed since you were out. Trying to do business as usual from 2007 is not advised. |

Most of the losses were at gate camps. One was an extremely unlucky camp at which a wreck was within 2000m from where I landed and it prevented me from cloaking. The last one was at a null relic site. It's been a mix of null and low though. Follow me on Twitter at @FigaroDevars |

It depends on where you are. This would not happen to you in Derelik. "He has mounted his hind-legs, and blown crass vapidities through the bowel of his neck."-á - Ambrose Bierce on Oscar Wilde's Lecture in San Francisco 1882 |

the amount of people doing null/low relic/data sites has increased hugely. Many people are doing them in asteros and T3's. Camping these for kills is thus more popular. I caught a tengu in a site i camped for 3 hours a few weeks back. Money at its root is a form of rationing. When the richest 85 people have as much wealth as the poorest 3.5 billion (50% of humanity) it is clear where the source of poverty is. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/jan/20/trickle-down-economics-broken-promise-richest-85 |
