with this annoying change you done to interceptors making them nullified there has to be a counter also.
you could change the nullified to only anchorable bubbles and not hics and dics or make interceptor lock other interceptors instantly or make their aligntime slower.
im sure the nullified change is great for nullsec but tbh i think its a poop for wh space.

I believe the best solution is to give interdictors covert ops cloaks and interdiction nullification so they can catch interceptors more easily. Things are only impossible until they are not. |

Someone must have been caught napping at the keyboard.
But seriously, interceptor gangs are now so much more fun than they were before. It has really helped improve small-gang, low-skill, low-income PVP. Sure there are a few more ships exploding more often, hell I've lost a couple myself, but I think it's actually pretty nice. And it's not like they're unstoppable. I know as a result of flying in some of these gangs. They bite off more they can chew and a ratter/skiff warps away taunting us in local. |

I guess this means you should ship down from the stuff you usually use and... *gasp*... fight in fast frigates with actual tactics beyond bubble-up and gank!!
Nah. That would require effort. Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective. |

"Bubble Up" is the highest level of FC nirvana.
The second highest is "Bridge is up bridge is up go go go primary the rifter" Things are only impossible until they are not. |

Yeah interceptor gangs can be killed pretty easy if they are not paying attention and will die to most instas using artys or missiles. Yes they are hard to catch if they are just traveling but thats really why they were buffed in the first place. Also to be honest most interceptor gangs can also be easily killed if you have logi due to there lackluster dps. |

i thought i heard they were balanced with a nerfed cargo bay.
seeing as the new buff is most powerful when traveling, a nerf to cargo seems well targeted. I don't have exact numbers but I'm fairly certain with decent skills, you can still fit a cyno+fuel in/on a couple of them at least.
Malediction can do it rather easily, according to Evehq.
I could be wrong but IIRC, that was a big part of the cargohold nerf as well, to limit their lighting cyno's anywhere ability.

This. In-combat, interceptors are still pretty vulnerable, since they can't really do anything unless they are close-in and not warping off... and there are plenty of ships which will happily murder them beyond their effective range. On the other hand, a competently-flown interceptor which isn't trying to fight can probably get away. That's... pretty reasonable, actually. Unless there's some specific example of 'running away' being overpowered, I don't see any reason to change this. |

I believe the OP is specifically concerned about WH space. A interceptor is able to jump into a Wh, see d scan and whats on grid, and then warp off or jump back. Nothing short of him failing to press warp allows him to be caught.
In comparison, a cov ops, cannot warp in a bubble so with a fast moving ship it is possible to bump a cov ops out of cloak before he is outside the bubble.
tl;dr; ceptors are 100% safe intel gathering, which in WH space is quite important. The Wormhole Kid |

one thing 'ceptors DO do, is they reveal your intentions in the WH..... a cov-ops can cloak up- and if you're lucky, they'll miss you, and then you'll scan faster/better too, a 'ceptor screams to all and sundry "I'm here, you can't catch me, but I'm here" For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it WILL be. |

cant a T3 with a cloak and nullifier do this better already?
