I'd like to see training time frames increased so I can plan out skill training days or weeks in advance. A potential way to do that - and reward time served - is to extend it per year. So first year would be like now, second year would be 48 hours up front, third year would be 72... something like that.
It would be more convenient than the way it is now and I can't think of a canonical reason it shouldn't be (though I'm no Eve canon expert). |

Back in my day, there was no skill que. If you had to change a skill, you had to be there to do it. That meant setting alarm clocks, carefully planning skills to avoid gaps in the que, or even just training something else because you knew you wouldn't be home in time to make the switch.

Seriously. I got some funny looks the other day when I mentioned learning skills and no attribute remaps from the old days. I'm glad those days are behind us, but the 24hr queue is enough. We do not need more. If you are an active player, you will keep it filled. Yes I occasionally let it slip 12 hours or so, but it's rare. Fireworks and snowballs are great, but what I really want is a corpse launcher. |

Good old ******* times !
I think the training queue shouldn't exceed 24h. It's not like it's very time consuming to log in to change a skill, and setting a long skill when you know you're going to be away for a while ain't that hard either. No need to make the system more complex. |

On the one hand, a 24 hour queue is sufficient for almost everyone.
On the other hand, a minor bonus like this as a reward for the people who have stayed subscribed (cancelling your subscription means you'll be back to the 24 hour queue when you return) for the longest wouldn't hurt anyone. |

I would list this under not necessary but nice to have.
Hell I don't even think I would mind it being a paid upgrade using plex (additional 24 hours in the skill queue per plex up to 7 days queue time)
I might never buy it, but if someone wants to go the extra mile I don't see why not. 24 hours is plenty of time for the average user and if you feel like you need more time in your queue why not? |
