i am trying to set it up so that corpies can query (view) a hanger and remotley use the bpo's with the scientific networking skill i've done this in the past but the issue is i have way to many bpo's now and need to sort them so have put them in to containers because of the 1k unique items limit per hanger. i understand the reason behind the limit but what i don't understand is why can't corpies use those bpo's from the cans like i was doing with the hanger query power earlier. this would be a simple work around please fix it. or allow at least the amount of bpo's there is in game to be in a specialized BPO Hanger... or maybe a specialized BPO Container. |

Without a doubt, storing BPOs is a pain in the butt (CCP, we like to organize stuff). In the meantime, you can use containers, but the corp permissions need to be set up separately (container access).
CCP has still failed you, until they give the whole corp/pos management thing another shot. |

But you can't manufacture/research/copy BPOs which are in containers, so they have to be moved out, used and moved back, so that needs more than view permissions.

It would be great if you could manufacture from a BP in one hangar with minerals from another. I'd love to have a BPO hangar and a materials hangar. Would make it much easier to track material needs. |

You can. Change the drop downs on the manufacturing screen, Input and Output. Hanger selected as Input contains the mats, hanger selected as output is where the item goes. Must both be corp hangers though |

I thought the materials had to be in same hangar as bluprint. Derp. doing it wrong for five years.
Thanks. |

You're doing it right. With materials in different hangar you have two more mouse clicks per job.
I wonder if someone calculates "ISK per click" instead of "ISK per hour"... (I gave up on PI for this reason) |
