Been flying this ship for quite some time, and with ~2.5mill sp I'm starting to get most of the ship's potential (considering my budget at least =P ). So, for those of you who love this ship as much as me, here's a frew setups you might want to consider.
Setup A:
Highs:
5x -(275 | 25)- 720mm Howitzer Artillery II (Titanium Sabot M) 2x -(100 | 32)- Malkuth Heavy ML (Scourge Heavy Missiles)
Meds:
1x -(13 | 58)- Med Shield Booster II 2x -(0 | 50)- Shield Boost Amp I 1x -(0 | 38)- Non-Inertial Balistic Screen (Kinetic active shield hardener) 1x -(0 | 32)- Ditrigonal Thermal Barrier (Thermal active shield hardener)
Lows:
2x -(1 | 32)- F-M3 Munition INertial Suspensor (gyro) 1x -(0 | 18)- Reactor Contorl Unit I 1x -(1 | 3)- Capacitor Power Relay I
Some numbers:
PG Requirement: 1593.2 CPU Requirement: 505.6
Speed: 189m/s Capacitor: 1750 Max Capacitor Recharge: 14 Shield Cap: 3234 Max Shield Recharge: 10 Shield Boost: 53.7/s Signature: 240
Setup B:
Everything same except:
Meds:
1x -(120 | 32)- Large Azeotropic Ward Salubrity I instead of one of the SBA's.
Lows:
2x -(0 | 18)- Reactor Control Unit I instead of one RCU and one CPA.
Some Numbers:
PG Requirement: 1712.4 CPU Requirement: 506
Speed: 189m/s Capacitor: 1750 Max Capacitor Recharge: 11 Shield Cap: 5218 Max Shield Recharge: 16 Shield Boost: 42.3/s Signature: 265

I plan on hunting Serpentis between 500k and 1.25mill with this setup. From doing so before I've noticed it takes me about 10 minutes to take down a 950k Serpentis Rear Admiral. With Setup A, I get 11hp more per boost.
1750(large azeotropic shield extender)/11 = 159.
This means after 159 seconds of pure boosting I have achieved the bounus the extra shield cap the extender would have given me from Setup B. Taking capacitor recharge rate into consideration and it turns more into 3-4 minutes.
An extra ML would add very little extra DPS to compensate for the much stronger tank thus I don't even consider filling that last high (at least untill I get engineering and electronics 5).
I would've made an AC setup, but I think the Cyclone is made to be an artillery platform (think it even says that in the description) and AC setups for BC's are relativly impractical considering the BC's agility and mass problems. That combined with the need to tank alot of damage on the approach and capacitor strains (because of both AB and Shieldbooster) give an artillery setup an advantage in both the shield tank (not gimped b/c of ab and cap limitations) and ease of use. ____________________________________________ Don't worry aboutit |

Looks pretty good for what you're hunting, but I'd advise droping one of the amps for an AB. Besides being able the move around faster, it will make it harder for BS guns to hit you. You're own guns will not suffer as much because they have inately better tracking.

You know, when they added the mid to the Cyclone everyone else said "oh yay we can shield tank it now!" I instead said "oh yay another tracking computer!" For great justice / faster ratting and missioning, fit a damage control and damage mods down low and range mods in the mids and snipe / kite your way through L3 missions.

10 minutes to kill a Serpentis rat. Jesus - just throw on 5 220s and 3 Gyrostabs and take it like a man. That'll do Serpentis without growing you a beard.

That Cap Power Relay is penalizing your shield booster's active tank. I would consider switching it out for something else, you could take out the CPR and the Reactor Control Unit and replace them with 2x Power Diagnostic Units. That should allow you fit your guns, improve your shield and cap tank. -Cheers
