Ship A is a neutral that is remote sensor boosting Ship B to decrease lock time.
Ship B attacks a war target in high security space.
Will the war target be able to engage Ship A the same way neutral logi's can be engaged? |

No. Repping people or otherwise who are at war makes you go suspect. Read up on crimewatch. |

Is this correct?
Depends on the seboing ship's safety settings, but yes this scenario can happen. Locking someone is not considered any sort of criminal act...so assistance doing it will not incur a flag. Unless ofc the boosted ship was already flagged then your going to get it as well. I'm CEO *****.

The boosted ship is in war, the remote sebo is not. I didn't really find anything via Google directly addressing this as it relates to war (everything seemed to be about assisting other suspects), but I can see why it would act as Loraine states. It makes sense. Not what I was hoping for, but it makes sense. |

Confirming that this works exactly as described above.
Remote Sebo from Ship A to on player in active war on Ship B to decrease lock time BEFORE he engages anyone. He locks and attacks another ship, and the green safety on the remote sebo ship disengages the remote sebo, subsequently keeping it from going suspect.

This looks like legitimate gameplay. If safeties are set to Green, the booster will deactivate the modules used on the shooter as soon as the shooter shoots.
Another way of framing this idea -- say, someone asks for hull repair because they don't want to pay a station bill and another person undocks and starts patching them up. As soon as the job is done, the first player shoots the station. Should the person who commits a neutral act be flagged for something the other person does after the fact? This mechanic essentially exists to allow people to run incursions while at war without turning the entire fleet suspect. The consequence is that neutral remote sensor boosting doesn't give you a suspect flag so long as you stop sensor boosting before the ship being boosted activates an offensive module.

Vimsy is correct in this. Remote sebo ships in lowsec gatecamps can use the same mechanics. This way people use cheap throwaway booster frigs piloted by alts. The security settings ensure no flag is incurred by the boosting ship and it does not turn suspect or incur sentry fire. That way it can be reused. However, only one target can be sebo-locked, subsequent locks are not boosted. |
