Kossen,
Although we have never met, I write to you now as a friend amid uncertain times. A friend not out of choice, but a friend of necessity: word has reached my ear that the hour of your final stand is upon us. It has been a long and bloody week, with each and every passing day filled with the blood of your martyred brethren. Why do you persist?
The Navy, the State, and all the corporations within are desperate to see you silenced, going so far as to bribe concord not to interfere with their state-sanctioned genocide. Pandemic Legion has offered you refuge in the depths of lawless space, where no empire could ever reach you, and yet you stay, and yet you fight. Why do you persist?
Your success in Taisy gave us hope that you may finally see your goals completed. Not 12 hours ago, Pandemic Legion once more fought off the hordes of greed-grazed capsuleers long enough for your Provist taskforce to complete the objective. Yet despite these victories, I still hear rumours that you intend to stand and fight within the jurisdiction of the desperate Caldari Navy and the corruption of CONCORD. Why, Kossen Jaikkka, why do you persist?
I do not know.
I do not know why you stole those ship.
I do not know why you return day after day to fight.
I do not know what could possibly be worth your sacrifice.
What I do know is that you are not the criminal the Caldari Navy is making you out to be. I'm certain that your use of the TS-19 gas during the initial attack was specifically engineered to ensure there was no loss of life. Yet the Navy has placed a bounty on all your heads and labelled you as "traitors to the Caldari State."
As the old saying goes, dead men tell no tales, and I want to hear yours.
The hour of your last stand may be upon us, but you will not have to face it alone. The pilots of Spectre Fleet are with you, to help you where Pandemic Legion cannot cannot tread. CONCORD may be watching, but there are still ways our clever fleet of bannerless capsuleers can help you in your cause. Why do you persist?
I hope someday to know.
Until the cyno drops -

Considering the engagement in Taisy was at an asteroid belt, I'm not sure what objectives the Provists are carrying out....I'm pretty sure the only objective they hold is to get themselves killed in spectacular fashion.
Either that or all these capital loses lately is having them reconsider mining as an occupation.

I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing that I don't know what the hell is going on here.
I'm leaning toward it being good. Isolation brings blissful and willful ignorance.
Whoever this Jaikka person is though why don't you just send them a holomail instead, or maybe meet over synth-latte.

Look at what you have defended on this day, Caldari who have stood against the Providence Directorate. Look carefully and leave in shame. |

In due course, we will be revealed everything. Until then, let the speculation continue, and let the words of hate just grow. I for one support all of these actions, and in their due course, hope that something grand comes out of this. Whether it cripples the state or not.

Andreus Ixiris once again showing that he doesn't know what it means to be Caldari. Some things never change. If only we had more people like Launette Vylier. |

It is interesting that zero attempt was made to capture any of them. "Wanted, dead or more dead" usually is a tell-tale sign of someone the government doesn't want talking to the media, that's for certain, and they made sure the bounty on them was so big that no one would even dream of stopping to ask questions before shooting.
Meanwhile, the mystery of what their actual goal was in their little raid last week will no doubt get buried under a carpet of censorship and willful amnesia in short order. Obviously it must have been something they wanted to capture intact, and something too big to just steal with a well-placed spy (which is interesting to consider, considering that they managed to steal a dozen capitol ships using nothing but spies & men the ground), and yet somehow not worth mentioning (or warning) to the general public, Caldari or otherwise.
Obviously they knew something, and now we'll never know exactly what it was that they knew... or worse, we won't know until it's too late. Nullsec in a Nutshell: http://nedroid.com/comics/2006-08-24-2155-arrrdino.gif |
