Are they any solo/small group wardeccers out there? Aside from Cannibal Kane you don't really hear about them.
It seems most people stereotype wardec groups as all medium+ sized fleets roaming around killing single targets. GÇ£Die tryingGÇ¥ is the proudest human thing. |

Bing Bangboom is a one man war dec. He's different than most in that he sets his sights on one, and doesn't remove the war dec until he gets exactly what he wants, which is total CODE compliance. He had an ongoing war for more than 6 months straight if I recall correctly before the alliance folded. He's semi-recently started up another one as well. He's more about asset denial and "fun disruption" than kills. He's perfectly content keeping them all docked up, but doesn't shy away from a fight either. It's been a few weeks since I've reviewed his thread, but he kept a thread of his endeavors (think blog) on the first war, and started another one for this current one at minerbumping.com. Entertaining to read, regardless of your thoughts on the whole miner bumping James315 thing.
On a different vein, I'm part of a big group, but most of my time has been solo or in gangs of less than 5 (myself included). |

I was jsut curious, since Kane says he may be leaving the wardec life, my buddy and I decided to start trying to be like mini-Kanes with less than 1/4th the skill, and I've talked to Kane a lot about how he does his thing, and in googling I have found so little related to this.
About everything that has to do with highsec wardecs is about how to avoid them as the target. GÇ£Die tryingGÇ¥ is the proudest human thing. |

Hi Kristall,
Just want to let you know I have decided not leave.
So if you have any other question that you need advice or help with you are more then welcome to send me mail or convo. "I saw him fight by the monument in Jita. He flowed in his Machariel like a Shinto spirit, 800MM shells sprouting in his passing. His hair flowed in the corona of his target's warp core breach. It was truly majestic. And while everyone stared in awe I stole the loot and ran off. Because I am like that." - NEONOVUS |

My Corp operates like that, that and Hillarity Ensues is another that comes to mind, We are out there. We just don't massively target everything at once. Even Break-a-wish is small by EVE standards. Even if there an alliance doesn't mean they have 50 or so members on at all times. Psychotic Monk for CSM9 |

I'll run "solo" wardecs (usually me and one or two of my alts), but I'm also bad at EVE and my track record is (obviously) not nearly as good as Kane's. If you're looking to start, get some neutral scanning/scouting alts, they're a godsend, providing warp ins and intel and whatnot. Been ganked? Robbed? How do you guys go about finding targets to dec? Sometimes all it needs is a bigmouth somewhere who hasn't grasped the reality of the situation he is putting himself into.
You can find these in mission hubs or trade hubs rather easily.
Just needs local. "My Favourite Nerdling GÖÑ" - Marsha Mellow

I used to do it, but not like Cane's. Cane is doing a lot of short wardecs (1/2 weeks), usually ~3 at the same time. I run only one wardec, but for 2/3 months, and once they don't want to play anymore, I have a lil' chat with their POCO/POS.
And yes, locators are your best friends. And if you don't have any loc, I'm your best friend. I AM SPACE CAPTAIN REPPYK. -áI AM A LOWSEC GANKER, HIGHSEC SCUM, NULLSEC BASTARD, WORMHOLE INVADER. Welcome to, welcome to, welcome to my scramble. GÖÑ |

Yes, I have a neutral cloaky scanner boosting legion and the wardec character has a disgusting number of locator agents available.
I've started scouting at nearby mission hubs while I wait for cyber V to finish. Adding entire corps to watchlist to check activity and preemptively scout them. GÇ£Die tryingGÇ¥ is the proudest human thing. |

I have found 3 potential targets for my first dec. 2 of them are alliances, which should reduce their willingness to disband, and they are less than 15 people each.
I've been scouting them via watchlist and locator agents and then going to see what they are doing and with what ships to gather information.
Just want to get my slave omega plugged in. I'll probably start the dec as I finsh cyber V so its active once training finishes.
I've also thought about keeping a war diary like bing bangboom, which could be pretty fun. |

We take on about 10 - 20 war dec's at a time here at hillarity ensues. For the most part we roam around all day long locating targets to shoot. War dec pvp is very fun in my honest opinion. The problem with war dec pvp is that you can eventually run out of targets. Hence why most corporations soley doing war dec pvp, tend to war dec alot of people at the same time.
We mostly operate off contracts, however some of our wars are just random decs. I find that alot of the missiong / indy corporations tend to drop corp for the week and sit it out in an npc corporation. This is why we started finding war targets that also own pocos and maybe a pos. If they drop corp, they cant do anything but watch in horror as we destroy their things. Thats also when we get paid ransoms :). |
