Thought this could be a fun topic. It is known fact that Eve has a steep learning curb. So steep that some players learn things, even trivial things after being considered a seasoned vet. What have you learned lately??
Mine-Apparently you can block entire corps/alliances in chat. (Untested but hope it works for NPC corps) Dalto Bane for CSM10- Getting an early start. -á-My posts are my platform

I've learned to accept that I live in a population that is evolutionarily behind the ability to comprehend a concept such as evolution. Therefore, waiting for them to form a majority view to move their governmental apparatus to address such matters as pay equity, social egalitarianism, pollution, street violence, and gun proliferation along with continual warfare, famine, pestilence and privation is an exercise in futility. How can a species that cannot comprehend evolution evolve in its thinking? Simple.
Of course, there are exceptions, and you know who you are. The simple fact is, we are not the majority so we are powerless to get the governmental apparatus to even acknowledge that such things as above stated even exist, much less move them to try to do something about them. D'Toqueville called this the "tyranny of mediocrity" since the majority of people are mediocre, and this is a "majority rules" environment.
By extension, I've learned not to wait around expecting the vast majority of the population (which also reads on the eighth grade level) to suddenly SEE THE LIGHT of understanding, and HEAR the call to action! Ain't gonna happen.
Thanks for asking. I have sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility toward every form of tyranny over the mind of man.-á |

Might be a bit off topic, but one of the beauties of evolution is the understanding that some humans will be more evolved than others. Yet the vast majority of people will argue that all of humanity should be treated as "equals", when by their demanding evolution be the doctrine that explains our existence, it would be relegating the majority of people into a 2nd class and below status in regards to mental and intellectual capacity due to the mechanics of evolution.
It's almost a I want my cake and to eat it too type of approach. The belief of all man being created equal and being treated as such relies on the creationist idealogy that we truly are equals, yet when confronted with the possibility of some people being genetically superior to others, it gets tossed aside as hate mongering when it's just a by-product result of evolution in progress.
Proof of lying in thread.
