CCP Soundwave wrote:Dear spacefriends
A year or so ago, I started a backlog of little things. At its highest point, it had 300-400 small features; some awesome, some of dubious quality. With two little things releases at the start of the year and more coming this winter, we've churned through the top layer of them. They were prioritized in terms of quality, and we're simply so deep into this list that I'm running into more and more stories that just aren't worth it.
That tells me it's time to throw the list out and start making a new one. That's what this thread is for. Hand me your grips and feature requests and I'll prioritize them on my list.
Go!
Please improve the process of accessing of cans which are housed inside a POS corp hanger, it is stupid to have to fly first to the ship maintenance array swop to a ship which has the capacity to hold your selected can, move the can into that ships cargo bay, open the can, hope you have enough space left in your hold to move the Item(s) from can to main cargo hold, put the can back into the corp hanger, then jet can the newly chosen items, then swop back to the ship to the original ship you wanted to fit those things to, then swop items around using ship maintenance array`s fitting service then reverse the proceedure to put unwanted items back in storage. I mean, come on guys! go try it for your selves. Its a right pain in the ass and so totally process unecessary, Cans should be able to be opened by the Can owner direclty in the corp hanger, as long as you first have access rights to the given hanger, and then the can`s security password to open the can and unlock item to access, pwd if required. it should also reduce your database calls. |

GeeShizzle MacCloud wrote:GeeShizzle MacCloud wrote:here's a thought.... wrecks arent individual wrecks anymore. Dropped items are added to a wreck pool.
so when that ship does go boom, and the hull is torn apart and scattered everywhere all its expensive stuff isnt neatly bunched together in a really obvious loot whoring target.
itd work something like this: you'd approach a wreck on the field after an epic fight where tons of **** blew up all around the grid. when u open it, it displays a random grouping of modules pulled from the loot pool.
the wreck wouldnt have a name like amarr elite BS wreck, it would all be generic small/med/large/capital wrecks.
so you'd say have 15 wrecks on a grid, when u open it, it displays a random group of loot from the wreck pool. obviously some cap mods cant fit into some ships so certain mods like cap mods and other things like that would only appear in cap wrecks.
BUT the essence of this is although certain mods will still only be in some specific wrecks, other smaller mods will act like they scatter in explosions like debris would in a debris field. thanks for your like Sunrise Aigele =)
Nice concept and probably quite true in RL physics, however I think every extra wreck that would be required multiplied by all the ships being shot up in EVE at any given time would increase the server database burden too much IMHO. |

YuuKnow wrote:Can we have a "Warp Drive Malfunction" voice when our ships try to warp off, but can't because we are being scrambled?
Cool idea, so simple to code in surely.
The idea definitely got my vote |

Please can you activate the existing option to name POS ITEMS it is not necessary to alter say the weapons Name Type just to be able to put a corps in house prefix name to it, (max 6 chars long) it should show up in the POS management screen and on the module; and could take the form of "BEN" Large Laser Battery or No1. No2. Cruise MIssile Battery this would be useful for POS gunner teams who can be allocated specific weapon groups. especially in a multi weapon and multi damage type setup. also keeping it to max 6 chars would reduce obscene naming, and avoid over crowding the relevent widows. |

Pilk wrote:Put all the shuttles under a single market group. This will save me a half-dozen clicks as I go through each race and try to figure out the cheapest shuttle, rather than being able to have a simple scrolling affair through a group screen to figure out the same thing.
Rearrange the default tab order on the market details screen: for sell orders, it should be: Jumps (ascending) Price (ascending)
So that the top of the screen is the cheapest one in station.
For buy orders, you want simply: Price (descending)
So that the top of the screen is the highest-priced buy order; since there's not an "applicability due to range" column, this is the closest you can get to seeing to what order(s) you would be selling if you did an immediate sell order right now.
--P
As far as shuttles go, why oh why do we even need different racial types for goodness sake; a shuttle is just that, a very basic utility vehcle and the only ship in EVE that surely did not ever need to be "factionised" they are simply one step up from a pair of roller skates. Just set one design up for all uses and call it the Concorde shuttle. |

That might be an idea for future development esp when dust is fully integrated as then you may need to drop spy satelites and / or supplies, special forces etc. behind the lines to help either your invasion or to help stop someone elses invasion of your planets. |

Kusanagi Kasuga wrote:Either implement (searchable) tags/folders for items in station (and possibly in cargo holds) Or make all containers searchable with the asset search.
eg. I have EMP L ammo inside a container/ship/folder/tag in a distant station (Let's say Jita}), I search for EMP L in the asset search, I get:
+ Jita 4-4 + Ammo [container] EMP L | 300 | ...
As is now, you can't reasonably manage your items in station without using some kind of container, but as soon as it's in a container, you can't search for it.
Now that would be very useful and worth investing some database resources in. |

one item that would really help, and that is when you are setting up any of the following copy, manufacture, time &/or material research jobs on bpo's please! have the window remember a pilots last used or preferences, why does it always have to default to current blue print location and default to public, for every job surely by now we can pre-set our individual preferences, or not for those who like excessive and unecessary clicking.
Hope this will get onto your list.
