I would appreciate a Hot-key for Launching Drones.
I know there are hot-keys for attack and recall, but the last time I checked, you had to right click and go through the appropriate menus to launch drones. It's not a huge thing, but sometimes is an inconvenience in the heat of battle... |

Get Orcas and Rorqals into the belts more by tempting them to get greedy.
Give Orcas Medium mining drones and Rorqals Heavy mining drones. The slight increase in ore produced is insignificant compared with the increase in numbers of Orcas and Rorqals that will be caught even just delaying warpout while recovering their drones. |

The Search Type drop down menu could be cleaned up. Does anyone ever do a search for an Asteroid Belt or Region ? If it's somehow measurable I'm sure 99 % of all searches are for Characters and Systems. Give those two a seperate box and another for the rest with the drop-down menu. |

Not sure how, but it needs to be much clearer what effects are on your ship, such as warp disrupts and webs. Tiny icons on the overview are inadequate in my opinion. Maybe even add a little siren sound effect when you get hit with any kind of warp disruption, battle stations!
Buttons don't work sometimes, I'm sure everyone knows how sometimes the UI buttons don't respond. One that's consistently broken in the unlock target button.
This has been broken with the carbon UI: you can no longer press enter to close the anomaly pop-up boxes, and you cannot confirm the market buy/sell box by pressing enter. (it's more convenient to move my right thumb to press enter rather than to move the cursor, for me anyways) |

When receiving assistance from any fleet member (remote ECCM, RR, remote Sebo'ing, etc), their yellowbox should change to green or purple or something to indicate that they are assisting you. Would be less confusing in large fights.
And D scan slider needs to be spread out and equalized - selecting 5, 15, and 30 scans is far too difficult.
EDIT: Oh, and drones should keep their mwd's ON if the target is faster than their orbit speed. A battleship should NOT be able to kite warrior 2's |

1) Add "personal" and "corp" tabs to the insurance menu. Trying to find my ship among the ocean of Rifters in the corp hangar is pretty damn annoying.
2) When transferring ISK from a corp wallet to another player, fix the menu that pops up after entering the name to search for. I'd rather select the right person with arrow keys than having to move my cursor all over the place. If possible, the small window that pops up with the player's name and portrait (where you enter the ISK amount and reason) should show corp/alliance affiliation. |

change contracts default search to (price: lowest first) instead of (date: newest)
also make it so if I had various filters and a contract is assigned to me and I click on that (on contract window tab #1) I dont have to clear my filters (on contract search tab) to actually see the contract assigned to me which I just clicked on |

Minor feature I would like to see *explored* would be the generation of unique serial numbers and contruction times for all assembled ships, Information that would be static and unchangeable over contracts, station trades and other ways that ownership might be transferred. It need not be preserved across repackaging, I don't think there's a way to do this otherwise.
You'd be able to see this via the show info menu, and you could see it in contracts and station trades.
Why?
* Well, when these new BC's appear there will be people paying many times the mineral value to own the first off the production line, but right now, there's no way to show this pedigree after the fact, adding this info would preserve this value. 'Early Model ships may acquire some additional value on contracts after the fact. * Display this information on killmails, so we can track not only the pilot, but the ship. Now killboards will be able to track ships, again, some ships may acquire extra value to collectors, identifiable based on the serial no. * Unique, unalterable serial numbers give the supercap spotters something to catalog.
Now the reason I say 'explored' is that I don't have access to the Eve Online DB Schema, but I could imagine that there are ways to synthesize this information based upon data already in the tables. If the object has a created timestamp then that works as an assembly data, then you can hash the timestamp with the object ID to create a serial number.
If, however, there are no such columns, or there is no unique identifier that is preserved as the ship object is moved across containers/contracts/trades/hangars then this is more than a 'small thing' and it would be better looking elsewhere for the moment.
Ultimately, this is a step towards a more complete 'Combat History' feature for ships where you'd be able to see all the kills you made in a ship, and possibly make that information public (so you can see the notches on the hull of that pirate ship), but we're talking about small things here. |

- "saved" templates for starting industry jobs.
- fix the "you fail to dock/jump because you are cloaked" bugs. If I pressed the button to dock/jump, I obviously wanted to drop my cloak and perform said action.
- Multiple overview windows (possible uses: one for friendlies, one for enemies, etc.)
- Ability to close alliance/militia chat window
- Redo the drones window so that its easy to switch between drones in space and drones in the bay. Scrolling stinks, especially when your carrier has 350 drones in its bay. |

I would love for the over-heating UI to get an over-haul. The current design is very difficult to interact with.
- The over-heat toggle is so ridiculously small it's impossible to consistently hit it right.
- The colored pulse from the module being active, plus some module images that go outside the circle make it very difficult/not possible to see the actual heat damage progress on the module.
- Rack heat would be better displayed nearer the actual rack of modules, imo.

There are a lot of useless modules in the game but the one I would really like to see fixed is the Target Painter II
Compare these stats;
Target Painter II Activation Cost: 24 GJ Signature Radius Bonus: 30% Accuracy Falloff: 60km Optimal Range: 30km Activation Time/Duration: 10.00 s Meta Level: 5 CPU Usage: 24 tf Powergrid: 1mw
Phased Weapon Navigation Array Generation Extron Activation Cost: 16 GJ Signature Radius Bonus: 30% Accuracy Falloff: 60km Optimal Range: 30km Activation Time/Duration: 10.00 s Meta Level: 4 CPU Usage: 16 tf Powergrid: 1mw
So the Tech I meta 4 is much better than the Tech II meta 5, can't you make a slight tweak to the Tech II module, especially given the larger activation cost? 31% sig radius bonus perhaps, for a quick win that fits between meta 4 and meta 6 ? |

Btw, I'm unsure if you're looking for short-term fixes or long-term wants, but here's a list of long-term things for me in order of priority...
* AF 4th bonus (make them proper mini-HACs) * Give the Coercer and Retribution more than 1 midslot * Eliminating split weapon ships (the Typhoon provides a good path forward for this) * T3 Frigates * Make ship names appear on hulls
Also, I'm concerned the hybrid buff is not going to go far enough - there is a fundamental flaw in blaster boats... namely, they need to get in range fast, but their focus on armor tanking keeps them slow, not to mention the damage mods that they need to be effective also have to compete for attention in the lows.
They either need a dash bonus that allows them to swiftly get in range (think maybe 2-3 km/s for a Deimos?) that can only be run for say 2-3 cycles, and need a cooldown time before they could be used again (could use heat mechanics here), or alternatively they need a massive increase in damage or perhaps tackle ranges so they can pin and kill their targets quickly. As it stands, I'm not convinced hyrbids will be sufficiently buffed for them to be viable. |
