I would like to have the option of delete injected skills.
I am not asking to be reimbursed for the training time. All I am asking is the option to delete skills that I am never going to utilize in any case.
And lets limit it even further, 5 skills that you can delete per year. I'd kill kittens and puppies and bunnies I'd maim toddlers and teens and then more |

A year or so ago, I started a backlog of little things. At its highest point, it had 300-400 small features; some awesome, some of dubious quality. With two little things releases at the start of the year and more coming this winter, we've churned through the top layer of them. They were prioritized in terms of quality, and we're simply so deep into this list that I'm running into more and more stories that just aren't worth it.
That tells me it's time to throw the list out and start making a new one. That's what this thread is for. Hand me your grips and feature requests and I'll prioritize them on my list.

There is an odd bug on the scanning screen where the probe status text (that you can click on to center on a specific probe) can get lost if the probes are too close to a celestial. The lists of all the celestials will come up, along with the probe statuses, and when you click on a blank area of the screen to get the celestial list to drop the probes are bare.
It would be really cool if I could click on a signal (red, yellow, or green dot) and center the display on the signal (like I can center the display on a probe by clicking its status).
Now that the new Tier 3 battlecruisers are out I'd like to see the force command ships get some love. The absolution, in addition to it's current Command Ship bonuses, could use a 5% optimal range bonus.
I'd fly the Damnation but a tech 1 frigate can do more damage. I know the role of the ship is to provide fleet bonuses, but geez!
Why is cloaking considered an offensive ability when flying a tech 3 cruiser? Just like there is no I in Team there is no Fair in Eve... |

Even better: have the ship's bracket in space highlighted with a box-out (in the style of trailers past) indicating the effect they are projecting.
Clicking on the box-out would highlight the ship in the overview and selected object window, allowing the player to take the appropriate response.
Not only would this make it obvious as to who is doing what, but would aid battle management when looking at the battlefield zoomed out. |

This ^^^^^^, but with a reimbursed of the points used so I can use them elsewhere!
Everybody did some mistakes with its training, especially in the first months in the game. CCP, allow us to make small fixes to the training by deleting trainings we do not use or need any more in a specific character and allow us to allocate those points elsewhere. Nothing critical or game breaking, just 3-4 skill deletion a year will be fine.

Not sure if it's already been said, but the Phoenix needs an ammo buff. Not so much damage or types or anything like that, despite it needing double webs on a carrier to hit it for full damage... :P The real issue is reloading; you cannot shoot for a full siege cycle. With decent skills you have to reload JUST before it ends, which loses you a total of about 30 seconds of dps.
So, decrease ammo size or increase the cargo size on the launchers please! |

I want a "master skill queue" for an account.
Really, all I want is a place to order the characters on an account, so if one queue finishes on one character, and the next character in the list has skills in their queue, it starts up there (or skips to the third character if there are skills in that queue but not the 2nd). Not sure that's a little thing, but since we have skill queues, why not be able to rotate the queues on all the characters on the account?
Second thing (also not sure it's a "little" thing). The Rorqual Clone Vat bay doesn't make sense. When you use a Rorqual to cyno in to a system for mining, you can bring in ships and pilots, but you can only bring out ships. The pilots are expendable or have to find their own way home. Not very practical for a "deep space mining platform". |

Enable the saving of EVE settings (other than graphics options which is very specific for different computers) to the EVE server.
I'm sure many of the players access EVE from more than 1 computer - At home, at work, at friend's house, on a separate laptop when travelling, etc.
The one frustration I had with EVE ever since I started playing in 2006 is that there is not saving of the settings on the server.
That led to me manually backing up and copying the settings every where I go, which is tedious.
EVE client is already a very huge thing to lug around in a portable way. Why can't settings be portable too - without players actually carrying it physically with him/her? |

One little thing i would like to see is the following:
The addition of the broadcast symbols (need shield, need armor ...) to the watchlist is very nice, but at this point not really usable. If a player does not clear his own broadcasts by broadcasting something senseless (like "in position"), the symbols never go away. so there is no way of telling how old they are without going through the broadcast history, which makes the whole feature kind of useless. To change that, the following additions:
1. Clear the watchlist symbols when the broadcast histroy is cleared in the fleet window (there is a button for that). 2. give the watchlist a dedicated button to clear all the symbols, maybe more than one to clear specific groups like logi requests, align and warp commands ... 3. add a (configurable) timer symbol in addition to the broadcasts. Like a little circle that empties or a little bar. The length of the timer should be configurable. After timeout, the timer and the symbol are cleared. This would give the age of the symbols at one look and clear them automatically after a time. The timers should be configurable for groups (logi, align/warp, ...)
This additions would save pilots depending on those information a lot of time for looking up the stuff in the broadcast history, which can be cluttered for large fleets/move very fast. You were able to see the important broadcasts of your watchlist at one look and how old they are. You would see the timers renewed when the broadcast is repeated, giving more usability to the watchlist.
Maybe the watchlist could also be improved with the ability to put some buttons into each line (some people may not want them, others will crave for them). Like a "lock target" button for logis. Also, the options of the broadcasts in the history should be available via right click on the symbol, like seeing the align command from the fc in the watchlist and using rightclick in the watchlist on the symbol to do so.
In this way, the watchlist could become for fleet members what the overview is now for enemys, the control center of all your decisions. Right now it is the fleet window and the broadcast history, which are not optimal for that. |

Hi,
This might infuriate some people, but i have a more conservative view on changes.
-please keep the game complex. Eve is one of the most complex game iv'e played, and it's fun that way. keep it complex, don't fall for making it easier to get more subscribers and more money. We love playing a game that requires you to know what you're doing. If you add new stuff, make it harder stuff, like C7 WH or impossibles incursions. We love challenges. Even if we complain a lot. Keep the game hard by adding harder endgame stuff, not making the game harder.
- On the same idea, don't change steath detection, don't nerf ecm. my personal feeling is that people dont use enough cap drains and ecm and non-dps modules or ships. support roles are fun ! they add to the complexity of the game, please keep them worthwhile.
- BlackOps : never used one, but they don't look useful enough. they look like they have an awesome role, but it's not used enough.
- null sec local : having a wh style local in nullsec might be overkill, but having a Local blocking unit kinda like the SBU could be an interesting mechanic. You go in a system, drop a beacon , scrams local (for a while or until destroyed). Blackops could do that ?
- just keep the game complex and make sure you don't add stuff that dumbs it down.

Jump Clones: - Reduce cooldown by half (12 hours should be enough to prevent abuse), adds more interesting game play. - Reduce standing requirement for installation to maybe 6.0? (8.0 seems high now compared to the 5.0 needed to get level 4 missions, it doesnGÇÖt make sense anymore)
Destroyers: - Would be nice to have at least one T1 destroyer with missile bonuses for new players, otherwise it leaves a gap between frigates and cruisers (T2 like the Flycatcher is not an option in this context)
BlackOps: - Should be able to fit Covert Op Cloak. - Jump distance should be reviewed to improve their role.
Anomalies (Exploration): - There is just not enough of them, please boost spawn amount, especially in NPC nullsec. |

FIX MISSILE EFFECTS, and give them launcher hardpoint models. There isn't nearly as many launcher types as there are turret types, it shouldn't be THAT hard.
I think that it is unfair gallente drone boats are nigh on useless on the pirate side of lowsec. I think that gate guns in low sec should not shoot drones until the owner of the drones is defeated. This will allow gallente droneboats to actually have a method of being deployed in lowsec and will stop forcing people to train into something else if they want to be in lowsec.
For example of the above, I am a caldari pilot, and my friend was gallente. He tried to use a myrm on a gate camp and was like "this sucks". He ended up quitting the game because we couldn't do stuff in the same alliance. Is shooting drones really all that necessary for fairness in lowsec?
More missile boats. As a caldari, I don't like how there is only 1 reasonable ship in each caldari tier to use missiles on. There should be more variation, especially when missiles take so much SP to train up. Same with drone boats.
As well, there needs to be a caldari torp boat that is actually useful in PvP. Don't say the raven is useful. Please. |

When viewing the orders tab of the wallet, have a single click on the order bring up the market window for that item, and a double click bring up the modify order window. This would allow you to perform the most common activities on existing orders without any right-click-selecting.
The single click to view market is already available via the quickbar view of the market window, so this would just transfer that same convenience to existing orders in the wallet tab. Currently double clicking an order listed in the wallet brings up a show info on the item, but if I have existing orders for the item, chances are I already know what it is. |

When using CTRL+F9 to remove the HUD, for a multitude of purposes, damage notifications and online/offline friend notifications stay on the page. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remove this, i've several gorgeous screenshots ruined cos of this.
Online/Offline player notifications -- allow us to turn this on and off, set how long its on for, and grouping (by corp/alliance/custom categories) so that perhaps only war targets will show up on and off, not everyone!
Right-click options for all the controls down the right side of the screen, allowing you to go directly into a specific area - ie, Fittings right click gives you the option to go into Browse Fittings, etc... less clicks, faster bacon.
Rogue drone model based on the Dominix still has a limb with a missing foreleg. (Not so little thing: rogue drone infestations for new characters to fight with - use the Incursion system!)
NPC ships orbiting gates in hi-sec -- make them in formation and only move when attacking or locking onto a hostile, this would look much better than a random lazy orbit that makes it seem like the crew got bored.
Racial sentry guns for the gates in hi-sec would look and feel way cooler than the current ones (yes, i know they're a CONCORD thing, but still....)
The damaged Yulai station is still damaged. While i understand that its a part of EVE lore, i think it'd be cool to have a player-included effort to rebuild it, perhaps with some random NPC (or even pirate-aligned players?) attacks hampering the effort, with perhaps some sort of CONCORD LP bonus for helping out - lets write history!
The spinny bit on the scorpion model - any chance it could be written in with the turret coding so that it tries to face your target, and spins when not in use? Sort of a nod to its EWAR bonus, etc
HUD Clock - option to show both/or the time according to your computer system (aka, oh -ú$%# i should be in bed)
CTRL+Click option to overheat modules, along with a better (but cant think how) way of showing overheat status
Drugs & Boosters -it'd be pointless, but fun (unless you could somehow drug another player...) to have visual effects depending on the drug. Some of the ones you find aboard drug manufacturing plants have fun little descriptions - it'd be great to play with them, turn the HUD off and fly through space with some crazy visual effect as you listen to the Beatles or something ;) The combat drugs could have interesting effects too, like if you look at a ship with an invulnerability field and you have some shield-related booster in effect, perhaps it shows up brighter, or glows more or sommat.
Sorry, back to little things:
Ability for players to flag (note: not for removal) contracts they believe are scams. The benefits and meta-gaming potential are obvious.
Freeform contracts need a comeback, things have changed since it was withdrawn, and again this could open up a fair amount of potential content.
Browsing all ships option. Somewhere. Maybe in the market (that right-click option sounds better now eh?). But SOMEwhere, it'd be nice to have the ability to browse through all ships in a function similar to the way the market interface works.
Pattern-saving option for probes. So that the pattern/configuration of the probes you are using does not change when the scale of the area you are scanning is in/decreased. This would save sooooooooo much time.
Scanner/scanning: If you have the rangefinder activated (the one to the left of your capacitor readout, that comes up with the big white circle around you, with ranges marked) and you alter the scanning angle in degrees, it should be shown visually on the rangefinder as a cone, factoring in the camera angle and not the ship alignment. It'd be pretty, and so much easier and intuitive than how its currently used.
Taking active modules into account, a "time remaining" counter (somewhere? maybe a mouse-over popup?) on the charge in the capacitor would be nice, currently there's only "how long it will last".
Fittings window: "simulate offline" option for modules, giving the player the ability to make decisions in space without having to go dock or wait for an hour before they can re-on all their modules. Usability here would be increased a huge amount.
Pirate-aligned stations should charge you a fee dependant on factional standing for 1) docking, 2) recharging shields 3) recharging capacitor, and 4) trade. It'd be a mild isk-sink, but kinda realistic too; shows that they're happy to do business with you, but the less of a -úW%$ you are to them, the less they charge you for it.
F12 - HELP! Would be nice if there was an option for 1) linking you through to a help chat channel, perhaps within the HELP! interface, and 2) for experienced players to click a button saying "available", and act as live-support. When they're bored of it, they just click the button off and can go back to their own business. This could also incorporate some sort of new-but-not-newbie-friendly chat channel offering support for players who just cant kill that last NPC.
Auto-hide on the buttons sometimes doesnt work properly. If you click on one of hte buttons for the market or journal or whatever, the interface sometimes wont re-hide itself.
CTRL+A, or multi-select (etc), should have a right-click option to Un-Stack All. That way when we select all those modules again and hit "Fit to Active Ship", it does it all in one go.
Fittings Screen -> Browse Fittings -> Find Ship fitting -> Right Click -> Buy ALL modules @ nearest//cheapest//safest//less secure//on waypoint route
A suite of minigames, hell even tetris and snake and stuff, built into both the CQ and the ships (different games depending on racial/size/faction/etc?) to fill the time and get your fleet killed because you were distracted playing poker with your squad.
I loves you, EVE. |

Textures of that size work fine on smaller ships, but frankly they look terrible on capitals. Even if you limit it to the highest settings, or make it a check box option in graphics settings, there are plenty of cheap graphics cards that can handle those textures en mass these days and it would be appreciated by us capital pilots.
Hell, while you're making 2k textures, redo the stations with them as well. You could argue that capital pilots shouldn't notice the low texture quality with the normal camera distances, but you cant say the same about stations considering how close we are to them.
