the circular 'active' indicator that spins around modules while they are turned on... for some reason it is never consistant. like it 'should' start on the bottom, make one full circle, -- that should represent one single 'cycle' right?
but it doesn't do that.
inevitably all my modules go out of sync so any module might turn off at 1/3 cycle, 3/4, 12/23, completely random after a while. as long as it has this random behavior, i can't time any of my module activation/deactivation strategically, as i have no idea when the module will actually turn off while it flashes red and is completing its final run.
can't you just make a single cycle be graphically represented consistantly on any module? wasn't that the original intention?

Its based off the server tick. It stops where it starts. The new time check with the server should correct alot of these issues. |

Please change the way the trade window works so it can't be abused. Either via code or imposing a few second cooldown timer to compensate for any lag effects. Those in the know only use the trade window with people they trust. Others are susceptible to Jita scams.
Scams are an important part of eve, but they should be innovative or clever, not based on taking advantage of a flawed game mechanic or code.
Other than helping newbs avoid a mistake such a change might cut down on annoying jita spam. |

I like the way the crucible expansion lets you select a station as a destination and you will warp to it.
Please expand on this.
When you bring up information on a system, under orbital bodies it lists stations, belts, etc. You should be able to right-click on a station and an option be there to select destination. Currently the only opntions are info and copy. Sure you can copy it to somewhere else, then right click that and link it to a station, then right click the new hyperlink to select destination. But all that is needlessly complicated. |

How about a way to tell there are unrouted pins in PI? If there is one, it is not clear.
Maybe show a warning dialog if there are unrouted pins when exiting planet mode?

Contract interface has a nice little button that, when pressed,'suggests' the price/collateral calculated from EVE's base prices. It's a nice feature, but the base prices are meh~~.
Now, if we have the ability to customise the bases prices it will be really great.
I'm not asking for the ability to customise the base prices for the whole item database, but just ... let's say 5 or 10 items of my choice. The pre-set prices could be stored locally just like the overview settings.
*Also it would be cool if we can pre-set courier rewards calculation formula such that Reward =f(Collateral, jump, sec, etc), and have the equation auto calculated with a simple mouse click. but that would be asking for too much

My suggestion is regarding the context menu (right click menu)
How many times in the heat of the battle you right click and try to slide over the submenu to select something in it and end up over shooting it to another submenu..? For example while trying to select a station to dock, you slide all the way and end up in stargates and click on something else and you have to go back and redo it.. If you havent died already for warping to blobbed gate that is.. This is even worse when there are submenus with long names present in context menu, you have to go all the way to the end from the origin of right click, in a perfect horizontal manner, with jet pilot precision.
Why not add the the code to click and select a submenu in context menu and not deviate from that submenu until you say you click on another one, while at the same time keep the old code of navigating without clicking as well.. This would be even more helpful for people that prefer smaller context menu font settings..
This would be very useful in laggy fleet battles to navigate through the context menu.
I am just saying, my eyes are perfectly fine, and so is my coordination, its just that tracking a perfect line while avoiding fire isnt all that easy...
Thanks for asking anyways.. :) |

Multi buy in the loyalty point store!
If you wish to make bulk purchases of the same item from the LP store it requires a click for each purchase. A simple text box like that used on the market buy window to allow you to specify the number of a particular item would be useful, possibly with a limit on the number of items you can buy with your current LP and other resources, similar to the limit you see on the 'Buy Datacores' window. WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place... |

This is a little idea, and I even thought of ways on how this would work. If I explained, it wouldn't be a small idea anymore. If interested EVEmail me and I can go into detail...

We can mark wrecks as viewed, jetcans as viewed, etc.
But containers in exploration sites (hacking, salvage, etc) cannot be marked as viewed, which is a PITA because there are often 23 of them named the same thing.
Please let us mark containers in exploration sites as viewed, or flag them, or whatever. |

Duvida wrote:BPOs for Cargo Canisters, perhaps? Good idea in principle, though I have a couple of concerns:
- Station containers. Can't haul them cos they're too big. How are you going to get them to where you want them?
- NPC sell orders for containers. With BPOs you'll want to remove them, but this is an isk sink and Lord knows we don't have enough of those. Removing it is not to be taken lightly.
I have a related suggestion: Make packaged containers smaller, say 10% the usual size, so I can haul 120 odd GSCs in my Mk V instead of only 12. There's a big space in the middle of them where the cargo goes - why can't this disappear when they're packaged? This might also fix the problem with distributing station containers. Not to mention griefers who specifically grief newbies are already considered the lowest of lifeforms on the pirate family tree. They need to pick on someone who's actually some kind of challenge.

Perhaps this functionality is only available if you're logged on; casual viewers always see the censored version.
Technical issues: If the censoring happens at creation time, and only the censored version is stored, this idea is stuffed. If the uncensored version is stored, and it's censored "live" every time the page is viewed, there's going to be an increased load on the web server.

In the Sci & Indust 'Planets' tab, it would be nice if I could see the status of the colonies for a few scenarios: - There are no active extractors running (if an extractor exists). - All launch pads are full. - Percentage (or some other indicator) of installations that are idle (or something to help with factory planets that don't have extractors)
Basically, the 'Planets' tab just summarises the planets that I've colonised (which may be appropriate), but there's nothing that summarises the colonies themselves. Would a new tab be needed, or just expand the 'Planets' tab?
Issues I can see for the moment: - Launch pads full of what? P0 or P1 is the start of the cycle and is therefore fine. P2 might be the end of the cycle, but how does it know that? Should it just simply state launchpads / storage are full, or work out what the highest tier materials it's capable of producing, and monitor those?
Longer term (certainly not a "little thing"), perhaps have a corp-level view of a number of members colonies (with their consent).

Someone mentioned this, either in this thread or another one, and it may not be so little: The ability to see out of the station when you've docked. I think the ISS has this capability now, so the EVE universe might develop it soon.

We have corporation bookmarks now, so thank you muchly for that, corporation notes might be a useful feature. Or make them shareable with other characters. Another possibility its make them linkable in chat, just some way to share information after you've spent time applying links to items, systems, characters, etc. WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. The target windows need more options when moving them. RIght now they fill right to left if placed on the right half of your screen or left to right on the left side.
Being able to manually chose this would be nice.
Example: I streatched EvE out over 2 screens and tried to set up my one screen as it would apear as full screen. The secondary screen for the fitting window or just scenery. But when I do this my targets want to fill left to right....this does not work as I wnat them to start next to my overview and propigate left.
This way my screen is the same when i full screen it to do things on the other screen or if i want eve in its' full glory on 2.
Thanks.
