Hello,
In your Eve experience, who would you say are the most formidable 0.0 NPC dwelling entities?
My vote:
Darkside
Gorgon Empire (they are in NPC now right?)
Based on my time in Catch these guys always brought it. Darkside has been bringing it for years. First showing up in roaming Drake gangs and then transitioning to well-run Naga doctrines. Gorgon is kind of in the same boat. While I do agree that neither of these entities could survive a full on invasion, they are able to muster significant fleets and give even the best of FCs a run for their money in small to mid scale skirmishes. Thoughts? |

One day.....
I can't name any formidable npc 0.0 alliances/groups as I am yet to come across one. I do happily drop to my knees for mordu's angels though, just because of their age.
Minmatar....we are generally unpleasant to be around....

The fountain Core coalition was giving Li3 a lot of problems. I was being constantly station camped by them when I lived in O-P.
Now ******** squad is dropping dreads on them. Problem solved. For more information on the New Order of High-Sec, please visit: http://www.minerbumping.com/ High-Sec has a future, But do You? Buy a Mining Permit to Secure yours today. |

Tri&MoA are probably the most influential npc null alliances in sov nul. After BR- the CFC deployed north to deal with Tri & MoA whom were slaughtering CFC ratters. The result was that N3PL was capableto push RusRus out of the south and win the Halloween war despite N3PL losing the biggest capital battle in the History of Tranquility.
(On a side note don't forget that N3PL won all the capital batles in the halloween war apart from BR-)
CFC is very lucky to have tri and mordu.
I am almost sure that Mittens sees them as more of a blessing than a curse. BoBwins Law: As a discussion/war between two large nullsec entities grows longer, the probability of one comparing the other to BoB aproaches near certainty. |

Well that is true when they were the only ones deploying capitols.
They did also lose pretty much every if not all subcapitol engagements |

True that. I'd love to see a report from CCP showing how many times Proteus subsystems had to be re-trained during that war. There were times we were killing the same proteus pilots multiple times in one day. |

Looks like 3 active pilots and a whole lot of hanging on to me, surely the killboards are lying though.
I don't see -A- anywhere on this list (that's in the last 90 days, btw). |

Yeah.. zKillboard is weird
For example I went to search to my Corp.. Black Aces, doesn't show... actually shows all of the other minor corps we have had running through out the years but not the main corp.. So yeah not surprising -A- isn't appearing on that as they still use eve-kill for their KB's |

zKillboard is operated and maintained by the same people that did Eve-kill (which is pretty defunct now, and usually inaccurate) and zkillboard actually credits your alliance with more kills per month than eve-kill did; stating that you've recently been in the Top 20 on EvE-Kill is pretty ridiculous, since that hasn't worked in almost 3 months.
Nice, 'that killboard doesn't work' play though. |

I think your image helps my point..
You look at the top killers for the past 90days, order it by number of kills you don't see KillerGX on that list, who would be at around 2k kills.
Maybe I am just not getting my head around how zkill orders things |

I think it has more to do with kill counts actually showing all kills, but weighting things like capsules with no value and noob ships with very few points- the actual number of kills is largely inconsequential. Most of those top killers are Capital Hunters, Solo pilots (killing things other than noob ships and t1 frigates) and suicide gankers.
My point however, was that -A- isn't active at all, unless you're counting the contribution of three whole people as the activity metric for a 1100 man alliance (that is slowly dwindling to nothing, yet again).

Yeah fair enough.. with the majority of targets that -A- has being HERO there are a lot of atron kills, but there are more then 3 people active, While no where near as big as what it was it i still there having fun |
