The Known Issues page has been updated with new information regarding the 3911 Bloodlines patch to be deployed tomorrow. When posting issues to the post-patch feedback thread available tomorrow, please read the Known Issues page first and ensure you submit a bug report. This will assist the QA team with future QA efforts and prevent duplication. Thanks!

Is this the negativity month or something? Seems like no matter what they do or post, all they get is complaining. I have a theory it might be some sort of CIA testing going on, maybe subliminal stuff on the forums are making people negative?

Do we have a "Known issues with the 'Known issues page' page"?
"Implant's" should not have an apostrophe.

Edited by: Maya Rkell on 22/05/2006 19:31:56 Well, nice to know :)
Couple of things in there which I thought were intended (jump clones and connections..) are bugs, apparently. Go figure

Cloaks + Cyno bug isnt even in that list? Are you seriously trying to tell me you're supposedly unaware of this bug, or is the list just outdated a bit?
Oh, and:

People will complain untill we reach the old level of customer service and communication. That's the problem with the fact you used to have good service: People have higher expectations that need to be reached for them to be happy.

pedantic much?
And I didnt think this was a bug "Aiding an outlaw in low sec triggers global criminal countdown even if the outlaw did not agro anything."
This has certainly been arround since cold war, maybe exodus even

Yes, I am a pedant of epic proportions. I'm not normally a grammar **** on forums because the general public doesn't have stardards to live up to, but professional companies ought to proof-read stuff they publish :P That said, the same mistake is made in various bits of in-game text, so... meh :P

Im going to have to agree with this and its not (only) because Wrangler buys me flowers and follows me around all the time...
Havent you guys noticed the amount of new blogs, updates and information from CCP recently? They are doing an incredible job at keeping us informed after taking so much heat the week before. Kieron and everybody else deserves alot of credit and appriciation for this. If they know we appriciate their efforts, they will be alot more willing to communicate with us too. Otherwise they can always do like Blizzard and just dont listen at all. None of us want that.
Yes, im the official fanboi of the month. But its worth it if you listen to me.

Dev posts and blogs = good.
Patches with actual 6-12 month old silly bugs fixed = better.
Patches with actual 6-12 month old silly bugs fixed, and good (re)balancing work done to mend the broken bits of EVE gameplay = Teh Win!
Tomorrow's patch would be a great patch, had the last one been two weeks ago. However, it's been... um... ahem... slightly... longer than that. Hopefully next one, tackling bits of that known issues list, comes quicker.
...and yes, after viewing the rather short known issues list, I filled in couple of the most obivious POS-related bugs to the bug form, even if I'm sure they are all there already 100 times over... and I'd have about 50 more which sadly fall into the 'I think this is silly design, but it's not technically a bug'-category, and had to resist the urge to stick them in too...
/me bashes his head at the table and screams loudly at the 'sorry, there is 2 grams of spacedust within 1000000 km of the ship maintenace array. You can only have 1 gram. So you won't be able to jack today' message for good measure...

It is kinda funny, but I can understand why. When they do release the patch hopefully people will only report issues that are new and not already known. Will give them less posts and bug reports to read.
So the next question is, when will these new known issues get fixed?

Anyone told you lately how much of an ass you make yourself look like? The devs try to give us what we asked for, more communication, anfd all you can do is continue to find fault.

I know of one thing at least that's not in that list.
Scorch L description is wrong, says they can only be fitted in small t2 pulse lasers.

*alters the buglist to include cloaks and cyno feilds on recon ships* its a bug you know, shouldn't have taken a shortcut by setting the cynofeild up as a cloaking device.

hmm... looks like there will be some improvements shortly (hopefully)
...however...
This not verified? Or is it fixed already perhaps? (I haven't been in a situation where it would have happened recently so I wouldn't know tbh)
And no overview bug on the list? What about multiple local windows, is that fixed? ____________________ 45545555555555555555 |

Or would you rather not ever have a new bugfix untill all known bugs are fixed in it?
I'd rather they apply fixes regularly and keep us updated on what still needs to be done. Then we don't have to pettition this stuff and it shows they are aware of the issue and it will be worked on.
Some things are missing off the list, but if they keep it up it's a very good thing. --- The Advanced Drone Control Panel. |

yes I know and I'm very happy, I just found it slightly ironic that we're being told about the bugs in the bug-fix patch before it's released.

Better to know something is bugged before hand before finding out for yourself, to be honest.
Thanks for the list, CCP. ___________________

Patch Notes
Originally by: Patch Notes Miscellaneous
Links stored in the notepad will no longer cause errors. Various minor chat channel and IGB fixes have been made, including: Chat channels are now correctly saved when exiting the client, and reopen correctly on logon. Characters that would appear as HTML text after a cut/copy and paste now appear as normal. Decreasing the size of a chat window no longer causes existing text to overlap. "EVE System" is now its proper red color and double clicking on the system name will open a 'Show Info' window for the system. The IGB has been optimized and now parses pages faster. Text inputs that exceed the specified field size will show the beginning of the text, not the end. A partial fix for pages with a large number of errors has been made. These pages will render more smoothly, but there is still the possibility of a client lock while the page loads. A rare issue with 302 redirects has been resolved. Pre-selected Checkboxes in a table that are unselected will no longer be submitted. The client no longer crashes when rendering some Jin-Mei male portraits. Quitting the tutorial with an Achura character will no longer cause an Overview error. Added a Reimbursement category in petitions
Not sure if that's regarding local though, just says chat channels...
