Would be nice with a command on the context menu that allowed you to move the ship to the location of the camera probe

Yeah, a good description of how it currently works.

Yes - totally and utterly unarguable.

Deploying a bubble you'd want to get it on a common warp in vector, aligned with closest and furthest object of interest. Moving your ship about to get in position takes a wee longer while than just move your camera drone into the desired position and telling your ship to move up to it's current location. Admittedly this would require the UI to display distance to the camera drone which could be used by displaying 2 distance values at the current object focus, color coded: 1 value for the ship <> object distance, and one value for the camera drone <> object distance.
Quick aligning to make an insta, would be nice to be able to move your ship to the current camera probe location - for same reasons as stated above.
So, there you have it. Any more imaginative comments or suggestions to this?

Wonders if a Freelancer style of free pilotting using the mouse would be hard to implement into the game.
Anyone ever played FL will know what i mean, u move the mouse up and ship goes up, u move mouse down and ship goes down and so on. Think that might be cool actually and give a mroe First person feel to the game as well.

thats what most "EVE-FPS" players want, and something may be implemented in the fullness of time - who knows =(

this is eve not FL. besides i am using the mouse to do all these other things than to use it a flight stick. now if they had an option to use a flight stick (joy stick) and use the mouse for other activities not that would be neat. neat not cool, seriously when are you going to use that you would have fun doing, in a frigate or destroyer maybe, everything else is so slow in moving it wouldn't be any fun.
