OK, I was coping my bookmarks and moved them all into my item hanger by mistake. Now I have over 5000 items in the hanger, mostly bookmarks. Now I don't see anything in the hanger but the hanger tab reports the 5000ish number. I know it's probably bookmark lag, but is there a way to fix this issue? I've waited a couple of hours for the hanger to populate with no results.
Any help would be appreciated.
Sennlloy.

Aside from sitting there and waiting, I think the only way out of the situation is to ask for GM assistance.

Sounds like you're stuck and I really mean stuck - I doubt one uptime cycle would be enough to load those bookmarks.
...okay, pessimism aside, I think it'll take 5-8 hours for those to load. Manipulating (read: trashing them) will take a lot of extra time too. ________________________________________________ My signature exploded :/ |

it's supposed to be fixed after downtime

Unfortunately, the way bookmarks are beeing used these days are not the way they were supposed to be used. Or just not thought of back then. And its not really a required thing to have, trickery, cunning, a friend and a bit of luck have gotten me out of bad situations. Even in a battleship.

I think your best bet would be to move them back into the places folder in small batches.
But I guess you're gonna lose about 4950 items from the hangar during DT. --*=*=*-- Megadon CCP wanted a well known artist and celebrity to test the new font so it's approval would be well known. They got Ray |

I also read somewhere in patch notes or on here that the new maximum for a single location store is 1000. This was due to db issues.
Would this effect you?

Set the display of the hangar to show only the list of the items, no icons. It will load much faster.

Bookmarks are stored on the server. Bookmark folders are stored in the client. |

hahahaha
The second you copied all those bookmarks, 100 carebears lost their faction battleships with faction fittings to Level 4 missions that lagged out in Jita, and are now writing up their petitions, or "omg i hate eve, i quit" posts.

Don't do this if you're in the process of copying. I accidentally undocked once while copying BM's. You'll lose them entirely and don't expect a GM to try and get them back.

I did the same thing not long ago. It took about 3 hours with 2800 BMs in my hanger. Then another 45 min to delete them.

Thanks for all the help everyone.
After waiting 4-5 hours, the items hanger populated. I'm in the process of moving them into shuttles 100 at a time with a max of 500 per shuttle. This takes awhile and I'm waiting between copies so I don't cause excess lag, but I want to get it done before downtime today (or the server crashes). I'm about 1/2 done and it looks like I didn't lose any book marks in the process.
Thanks again
Sennlloy.
