Yes, if you gank players you can expect Concord not to return your calls. 150mil does not sound unreasonable to go from -5 to -2. Piracy pays but you make sacrifices. |

Anyone who knows me knows that I am all about a game having consequences for actions and people taking responsibilty for those actions. So complaining about having to repair sec status when you choose to be a pirate would seem to fit into the catagory of "things jenn would ***** at you about".
But it doesn't. It's far far far too easy to lose sec status in low sec and that's one of the things that is a damper on low sec pvp (and thus low sec activity/population in general) . With the exception of declared wars and FW, low sec is a crap place to live in if you want to pvp.
I can pvp all day and night long in null and WH space without dealing with the same kind of absurdity you end up with in low sec. And then the absurdity doesn't even end up serving it's purpose: creating a game-space (low sec) that is more dangerous than high sec and that still offers some form of protection (via gate and station guns) while being a bit easier to pvp in.
Low sec unsafe exactly like null and WH space while at the same time being WAY more annoying a place to fight in.
CCP should go completely back to the drawing board on low sec IMO. |

Ah well, not saying it's not balanced or anything, just wish it wasn't so boring. I'd love a mechanic where I'm engaging some sort of player entity to repair sec status but considering the nature of alts not sure how this would work.
Translation: "I can't be arsed to grind sec status, I am too tight to buy tags and not clever enough to gank the people killing the rats that drop them... This game sucks..." Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person." |

So you had fun killing player entities and want to "repair the damage" with more fun ?
But then as dumb as it may sound, and like others mentioned kill the tag gatherers to save some change. |

EVE is awesome. It's a goddamn karmic wheel revolving over and over. I like how it crushes those who refuse to move laterally. Much like how a round spaceship rolls along crushing a running person too stupid to move to the side Or those who buy the movie on DVD to watch again and be ever more frustrated and confused.

EVE, you are nothing but one giant grind with a blanket of pretty lights and spreadsheets layed on top.
Grrrr someone.
What's the point of security status if you can get back up to -2 or higher within a few hours of grinding?
You chose to be a pirate, you have to live with the consequences - Exactly what EVE is about. If you can't deal with the consequences you can either move to 0.0 where sec status doesn't mean squat, or you can play another game with no consequences to your actions.
