Originally by: Deja Thoris As of not too long ago you could most deffo dock in siege mode if in dock range.
On a gameplay level I'm glad you lost it so quickly, hopefully it will discourage others from doing something with their "I win - no repurcussions" ships.
I also hope they fix the bit where you can dock in siege mode. Cap ships imo need a longer aggro timer to stop just this.
Finally, grats to the UK
While I dont think the OP was all that smart in his utilization of his cap ship for the stated purpose, I don't understand how this type of thing poses a problem at all? In fact, I love the idea that creative uses of cap ships might curtail the pathetic carebear tendency to blob with loads and loads of EW as a stopgap against their lack of skill versus pirates.
I love what he tried to do in principle.

Thanks for the post. Great read.
Alas, if I weren't probably quitting I'd have to get the Nidhoggur I've been dreaming of and come camp with you.

Originally by: Sakura Nihil very ballsy, congratulations!
what was the final kill count from your experiment?
- final kill count was around 100 killmails in about a weeks time. Some events i remember from my first days:
With the first volley i got a Raven Navy issue to 14% hull before he managed to dock. (I was in siege mode with target painters). Bad luck for me but not for him.
We ransomed a Freighter in Amamake 2nd day i camped there, he paid me and my camping mate 400 million.
Originally by: vile56 damn huge balls.
what is insurance payout?
- Insurance payout was 1.2 bill with silver insurance. It's not much more expensive loosing a dread then a faction bs. I will soon get a new one, if i dont decide to try out the carriers before that. I do however see a problem with sentrys popping the drones, but a carrier could be useful as a tackler, fitting cap drainers, webbers/scramblers/fast locking.

Your right about that probably better in 0.0 guess ya would have to pay some careful attention to what their hp is at. From what I've seen though they can take quite a beating.

Nice work in that Naglfar Skywalker Do you have any experience using turrets for this purpose? I've been dreaming about a blaster moros having a good time outside agent runner stations.
