Hello everyone. I am a new capsuleer who has finished his trial with EVE and am now on my first PLEX. I have been currently mission running the past two weeks while training towards a combat/mining preference, although I'm still not sure exactly what I want to pursue in EVE.
I would really love to join a socially active corp who would be willing to teach me the proper ways to play EVE in order to maximize my experience. I am well aware of the universe and have done my research on the backstory and a lot of the very notable events that set EVE away from other MMOs. I am aware of all the scamming and griefing as well. I believe I can help out a lot of corps as a recent business graduate. I am also willing to work in highsec, lowsec, nullsec, etc.
About me -
22 (about to turn 23) year old college graduate with a business degree. Play in Eastern time (EST) almost every day ranging from 30 minutes to 10 hours a day (depending on work schedule). Only have about 400k skill points. TS3, Mumble, GHO, Skype accessible. Willing to learn any and all aspects of EVE to help suit a corporations needs.

If you are interested in some PVP and learning how to defend yourself and your squadmates, and get in on the ground floor, I'd strongly reccomend talking with Charlie Firpol of Noob Mercs
https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=328474 you can find more info about him and his program here.
Charlie does an excellent job getting new players up and established in a consistent PVP environment. I can't reccomend him enough. |

Hello There!
Flying Dangerous (FIGL) is a null security PvP Alliance currently based in the Syndicate region. Our singular focus in Eve is PvP, pure and simple. We are primarily a small gang PvP alliance, with fleets consisting upwards of 30+ members. We are more than willing to take anyone and teach them to PvP. Experienced and talented fleet commanders lead fleets daily, with both scheduled and ad-hoc ops. We fly all races and ship types from frigate class to battleship and capital ships.

I think you were right to start working on PvE and mining. ISK making is important part of Eve. You should avoid anything that is going to limit or restrict that otherwise Eve will be a very expensive game on your RL wallet. Game play such as faction war or piracy will quickly reduce your security status and limit your access to making ISK. This is not a good idea until you have found other ways to become self sufficient.
Hardcore Industries is a empire corp in Amarr space with plans on going to nullsec in ~2 months. Our CEO has 7 years in game knowledge and over 6 in nullsec. The corp will be focused on mining, but help with PvE is there if you need it. Once we get out to nullsec then the game really opens up all aspects to the game without the need to do things like grind standings, or agents. DeD plexes, Anomolies, Escalations, Archeology, Hacking, Planetary Interaction, Wormholes, and Mining all become more interesting and profitable. ISK landing in your wallet can go towards PvP or bigger specialized shiny ships, it is up to you.
