The Agony Unleashed PvP University has put over 300 people through our PVP-BSIC course with not one dissatisfied customer. The course is fun and will break you out of mining and into the world of Eve PvP. You will enter 0.0, potentially for the first time, not as a sheep but as a part of a lethal fighting force trained to combat your fellow man. You dont have to Join our corp (indeed Agony is an invite only corp anyway); you merely need to show up prepared to learn and fight.
Learn how to defend yourself against pirates or to take on other players in 0.0 PvP. Learn the difference between PvP and a "blob" of ships and why it is that Agony Unleashed has such a high satisfaction ratio. Get instruction from a corp that has a recognized track record of transforming helpless miners and carebears into PvP fanatics.
Join the PVP-BASIC course Sat. June 10th, 1800 Eve Time. Just click on the link below and enroll on the thread and you will be on your way to the addiction of PvP.

Also, is there another course on at a better time? 1600GMT is 4am Sunday morning for me :(

1800 EVE time is noon mountain time. Mountain time is GMT -6 because we are in Daylight Saving Time. Normally it's GMT -7.

This is a neat idea. Unfortunately the cost is prohibitive to a newer player such as myself. Maybe in the future, if you don't have a skill cap on participants.

See if your corp will help with the tuition. Good corps are willing to help pay to develop the skills of their employees.
I know people in my corp took this class and highly recommend it. I hope to enroll in the future-- may not be able to make next session though. It sounds very interesting and fun...

Thanks for the advice. No skill cap is good to hear. I recall seeing something similar recently but they wouldn't take anyone over a couple months old. As this character was originally an alt, she's actually incubated quite a bit :). But skill points and player skills are kind of two totally separate things. If I could get PVP skills out of a book plugged into my head... heh, that would be nice, LOL.
I'm still in a newbie corp (IAC), actually ;). I pretty much do my own thing. I'm pretty sure bugging my fellow newbs for money would not go over well!
I'll certainly look forward to some future session once I have a bit more cash :).

We will be going out ratting in 0.0 tonight probably about 20:00 eve time if you are interested. All you will need is a frigate, a Ventrilo client and the STRONG desire to LISTEN and do what you are told. In a couple hours you can make the course fee with us. Join our public channel AU_PVP_UNIVERSITY and hang out there for more info. Other neewer players are welcome to join as well.

Well, I can't get on until 22:00ish EVE-time, but I'll pop in and see what's happening. Unfortunately, I'm a repressed member of the workforce ;). Need to afford my gaming habit somehow!

Rells is a great teacher and his PVP courses are his passion. He has helped several pilots in BSC become much better at PVP. For those interested in 0.0 space, this investment will certainly pay off by helping you keep your ships in one piece.

Is there a clock somewhere that shows current EVE time... I mean outside of game, where I assume it is shown (at work now so can't check the game). ----------------------------------------- Peaceful citizen of Gallente Federation.

Well, I don't know of one on this site, but the CRC's page has one:

Would changing your Forum setting time to show GMT help? Then just look at the time of your post. ___________________________________

A lot of us run level 3/level 4 missions and would be happy to have a wingman or two along (to split the proceeds with, of course!).

I've been idling in the channel, but I haven't had much time to play. Got a tooth pulled Sat. and it's been downhill from there. Still hoping to do something by this weekend, but it's not the end of the world.

We've found that the website is having problems with Internet Explorer. If you tried to register using IE and it didn't work, get Opera or Firefox.

You probably hit "back" when you forgot to check the agreement to the terms of the site. The software has a problem with the back button that they are trying to fix. Just give it another whirl and you should be good to go.
