sounds like a module which the usual pilots can add to their falcon alt. could maybe really make sense if it can only be fitted to titans and and supercarriers and does not infect focus point or bubbles. A good way to first tackle the carebaertengu and wait for the remote-warpcore-stab-erebus-altchar |

Well, it would at least make having escorts for a lowsec fleet not stupid and a waste of time. go through, see gatecamp, engage them before your ship decloaks, and when it does, get the remotes on it so it can keep running. |

Well, if they don't come with drawbacks like the low slots, then anyone with an alt can just "warp chain" like cpa chaining, to get a warp strength boost and still be able to fight like the pre-nerf warb stabbed ships |

I'm thinking medium slot , fittings and range similar to a disruptor or ecm module.
safety and usage flagging same as logistics mods.
Gives other options than ecm for escort ships.
Won't help v bubble or infi point.
I already have one.
Fits in my high slots, and launches Void at whatever's pointing me. Usually works pretty well ...
but yeah, I agree this could be useful in some circumstances. One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia |

There will be some interplay between one group trying to focus enough stabs on a target and the other trying to focus enough points. That could deal with stab chains.
If the ships don't enter warp simultaneously, that means the ships that warp last will have no remote stabs on them. If they are pointed, then as soon as the ships stabbing them go to warp, they become unable to warp. Fleet warps might be a simultaneous warp, or they might be treated ships warping one at a time by the code. Ships manually warping pretty much has to be treated as a separate event for each ship, even if they all happen on the same server tick.
But there are other drawbacks that can be implemented: - Heavy cap use and/or something that makes you take more damage while using it would encourage people to only use them when necessary. As in, having the protected ship mostly aligned before stabbing it. - Hefty fitting costs would limit the rest of a ships combat capability. - Reduce your warp core strength while using it. Or maybe make your ship completely incapable of warping while its running. The rush to point the ship that was remote stabbing before it warps away could get interesting. |

I believe it is absolutely imperative that the module be in mid slots. It must compete with the already existing method of achieving the same goal: ECM. But I would like to see a new way to do it. It should cost a significant amount of powergrid or have an immobilization effect on the ship using it, to prevent people from using cheap frigates to get expensive bigships through lowsec too easily.
Maybe a small, medium, and large variant, The small immobilizes you for 30s, the medium for 15s, and the large for 7.5s. Probably would work best on a tanky strategic cruiser but I don't know. Fit a warfare link to your tech 1 battlecruiser. Train Wing Commander. Get in the Squad Commander or Wing Commander position. Your fleets will be superior to everyone else's. Interesting concept. I'm not particularly for it or against it. I feel it needs some type of drawback or feature that really keeps it balanced. Just a straight up Remote Assist module that allows a friend to warp off would be a bit too powerful in my opinion. |

Maybe it should have high CPU costs and a timer to activate. Like 100 CPU and 5 seconds... Maybe |
