I started FW four days ago. Right now I got around 100k LP. I know its not much, but it's a good amount for a new player like me. I know if I want to make isk I exchange that LP to buy stuff and sell them in the market. I'm also aware that everyone has their own secret trades and won't share them - I'm not asking for that.
I'm curious what LP to isk ratio is considered worthwhile by most players. How much should I hope to earn from 100K LP? |

https://www.fuzzwork.co.uk/lpstore/ is a useful resource.

Given how easy it is to make FW LPs, the conversion ratio isn't all that great. Still, you should be able to get some 800-1000 ISK/LP with ammo. |

Fuzzwork is an outstanding resource. Thanks, Steve!
OP, ISK/LP depends on:
1) which items you're selling: you'll quickly realize some items have high demand, others are fairly useless
2) which Tier the militia is in. lower Tier = less LPs for all = each LP is worth more
3) where you sell the items. Jita is great because of high traffic, but usually other trade hubs will have higher prices
4) if you sell to buy orders (instant), or put up your own sell orders (requires some patience). in some trade hubs, the difference may be huge
As a reference, current Jita buy prices on popular items with Gallente in Tier 2 is 1,200 - 1,400 ISK/LP. Fuzzwork will easily show you this.
When Gallente was in Tier 1 for a few months, I regularly managed to get 3,000+ ISK/LP, with sell orders, in other market hubs. |

To clarify the situation with the FW Tier levels. The Tier levels themselves don't directly affect the value of the LP. But effect the amount of LP you receive for completing a FW objective. For example, completing a Novice plex at Tier 1 will grant you 5000 LP but at Tier 5 it will grant you 32500 LP.
However, when a faction has Tier 4 or 5 it is common for everyone and his brother to be farming the LP. The price of FW goods for that faction will often crash, because most of them are so short sighted they will run to market and unload their LP right away.
If instead you sit on your LP/Goods until the warzone flips against your faction and the supply of FW goods dries up. You will generally get a much better price for them. Be aware that some goods are sold in multiple FW stores and won't fluctuate as predicable.
