Some people think 00:00 is the end of the day, some think it's the beginning of the day (it's the start of the day if you care, so 00:00 on Wednesday is the first instant of Wednesday, right after 23:59 on Tuesday).
Just avoid using 00:00. Do 23:59 if you want, or 00:01.
Thanks, Mort

It's the difference of ONE MINUTE, so what?
If you're referring to some sort of ambiguity, 00:00 is ALWAYS the beginning of the day. Think of it like this - the day changes as the clock hand moves from 23:59 to 00:00. So at 00:00 and 1 millisecond, the clock still says 00:00 but it is clearly the next day. --------------------------------------------------------------------

That's her point, I think. Changing it one minute in either direction doesn't have much effect on the auction itself, but it is much clearer.

i think it¦s right
make the final time some other time tahn 00:00 looking to that many people might misunderstand it... it¦s the bidders gain of changing the final date

People often get mixed up with this, auctioneer thinking it's the end of the day,and bidders thinks it's the beginning, not funny sometimes. And there have been a lot of f*cked up auctions like this lately, always be very clear about your rules in your auctions! Ö Sig By Brother Benthor Solarflares is recruiting, contact ingame!! |

0:00 is the start of the new day (hence the zero's) counting up to 23:59
.. I'm with Mortania on this. Ending an Auction on 0:00 can easily be perceived as one of two times that are 24hrs apart.
Best to choose another time for the end.

Conversely, one could view it that I've solved all my big problems (like getting laid regularly), and have time to ponder ways to save grief for all of my fellow sellers and bidders on these forums.

Nobody cares about the 1 minute difference.
Mortania try to explain that an auction finishing for exemple the 06 June @ 00.00 is unclear, it could be the 06 June @ 23.59 or the 05 June @ 23.59. If you stop using 00.00 for 23.59, no more problem !

Check your facts b4 making a statement...technically there is NO SUCH TIME AS 00.00...it goes directly from 23.59 to 00.01...no military in the world recognises 00.00 as a legitimate time, precisely for the reasons stated above...if you're watching your kitchen clock, fair enough, but in the context of this post(ie GMT), the OP is correct. when i plug in my digital clock then it shows 00:00 blinking so it does exist that time and u know it :P but it¦s stupid to use that for bids it¦s just a trick to be able to keep char bp or whatever u are auctioning here for 1d +/-
that¦s my opinion

Signed. It's allways to the benefit of the auctioneer. Using 00:00 time may work against the auction holder. -- |
