now i have trained the skills for Amarr HAC's my next goal will be Interdictors im going to be flying the flycatcher and heretic
would appreciate setups so i can fit Sphere launcher and have an effective fast dictor

no offence, but interdictors are the most specialist ships in eve, so if you're using em you : 1)use em in 0.0 2)use em in large gangs 3)every setup that has a sphere launcher is good, just fit guns, dmg mods to kill ceptors fast (if you enoucnter any). thats all

didnt notice i was posting with my alt
it will be for 0.0 skirmishes, for dropping a bubble when hostile gangs are spotted maybe popping one or two then buggering off

hey, there is a thread up with a few setup's, and my experience is moderatly limited to the amarrian interdictors, but here is what i can say. highs sphere launcher is 100cpu. and CPU is your main constraint. 4 Dual light Beam 3 NAMED standards if you want to use all your highs and are using range, which is honestly your only real shot of survival with interdictors then that is really the only real optional high slot layout.if you have weapon upgrades V you will have enough cpu to fit named launchers of choice. if you have only IV you will need malkuths. :(
1 1MN MWD II 1 Warp Disruptor(named) 1 Cap recharger/sensor booster
I alternate the cap recharger and sensor booster depending on gang type. if i have inties with me i take the cap, otherwise the sensor booster. You will likely need a decent named warp disruptor for cpu constraints.
1 small rep II 2 nanos
OR
1 small rep II 1 damage control 1 CPU upgrade II
the second choice is very skill dependent as you need AWU to use because of PG constraints. although you CAN drop the rep II for a faction or t1 rep to avoid that. the top choice is FAR more usable as it makes your survivabiliuty go up. you align and speed up faster and thats all that counts.
SPEED IS LIFE in a heretic.

solo in interdictors ? ... i thought that despite their great speed they have 2 much radius for evasive manuvering therefore they cant survive vs a cruiser.

Yeah solo dictors do work, especially sabres.
As for above heretic setup (dl beams + std. launchers) im not using it anymore... got owned by standard crusader setup and i got a bit angry at this ;p
Now i use plate + 4x gatling + 3x rocket launcher (+heatsink iirc). Abt 140dps and a bit more HP than sader so this time it is fight on equal terms :)

Was it you? :) I forgot to post it on killboard so cant check (or if you could forward me killmail ingame ;p).
Nvtheless it was a bet with friend (was talking on VT and was like: - i wont kill close range inty with this setup - you will - ok, lets see ... ;p)
Was sure id die but meh - at least i have new setup that works pretty ok.

I'll just jump in with a huge what the **** here.
Lets look at the ship role. To drop bubbles. Having done this no ship can get away.
Now you would think a sensible piece of equipment to keep a ship in a bubble would be a web. But no, you decide to fit a scrambler

i have been told flycatchers are hard to fit and i would struggle to fit 6 standard launchers thats why ive but 3 of each.
Heretic: 4xDual light Pulse laser(scorch) 3xStandar missile launcher II 1xprobe launcher 1xMWD 1xWeb 1xScram(or another web) 1xSAR II 1x200mm steel plates II 1xMAPC/CPU mod
i thought these would work quite well

It's purpose is to drop bubbles and keep them in place, and to cloak when the **** hits the fan. If you want jammers/damps/disruptors, bring some proper support.
