Ok so I have tried eve online twice, each time I would play for about a couple of weeks and then my interest would fade, I am once again gonna try to get back into eve (this time with a friend) I havent played since Incarna so I am not that up to date. My question is what kind of isk making activities work well in groups of two or three and can be started with limited amounts of time up into the game? |

Depends a bit on what you guys would find fun really. Basically, any activity in EVE can be done in groups. Id suggest giving something neither of you have tried before a shot. |

Have you looked into the Buddy Program? Gives you a few extra perks for bringing your friends along.

Minimal SP investment with a few buddies handy.. ganking freighters, Factional Warfare, join a null blob corp and do PVE in SOV-upgraded systems (ie: ratting, explo).
You could also looking into mining together, but the SP investment is very high compared to the tiny ISK reward. Null and WH is better fot this kind of activity but the SP investment is not entirely for beginners.. Travel to exotic solar systems, meet interesting and stimulating people of an ancient culture, and strip ore from their ship hulls. Join BOVRL. Blood Miners take SOV.-á |

Missioning with a friend is much more efficient and slightly more fun than alone. Have one of you bring a salvaging destroyer, and split up the loot later.
Much more interesting than that ( I think) is ninja looting/salvaging, which is marvelous fun with a friend. You can graduate to mission flipping, if you like: if one of you trains into a remote repair frigate, the other can kill surprisingly big stuff for very good money. This takes a little creativity and some smarts, though.
Two low-sp destroyers can rat in null and deep lowsec efficiently, as well.
Although exploring is more of a solo thing, hunting explorers can be done with a friend.
As was said: almost everything in eve you can do alone is better done with a friend. Some things can only be done with friends. |

Join a group. I can not understate how important this is to getting the full value out of EvE. Pick one of the new player friendly ones based on what you want to do. EvE University / Red v Blue / Brave Newbies and go play. Do it with your buddy and you will both get much more out of this game than just the two of you playing together. The groups can also help point you in the best direction for making ISK. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=266074 - Sniggwaffe (Waffles)
