Good changes!
Fixing the little things is always good... unless it ends in a mess like the new tooltips, of course :P |

Those changes are great. More visibility, more informations, more choices.
I would huggle the UI team tightly for that effort!
Now if you just had a way to display the drone informations correctly, with the modules affecting them, like turrets do. Seeing what launched drones are actually affected by, seeing what stats they have is quite hard ingame. You need tools like pyfa for that. But i assume it is again a thing that only the server has, but not the client, like with the warp bubbles? |

This dev team is by far the most useful of all the dev teams at CCP. Most people viewed Orwell's writings as a warning. The harper regime and the goons treat them as a guidebook. |

I do, but it requires two clicks in the HUD now, instead of one click in the d-scan window before. (I like to only center the camera when I'm d-scanning in a narrow angle. The rest of the time I have the tracking position slightly off, so that my ship isn't in front of what I'm tracking.) Too bad. Maybe later then ? It would really be a huge quality of life improvement, because I like to switch between centered and custom tracking position everytime I d-scan.

Not to harp on a subject, but I'm not seeing anything about cleaning up the current tool tip system. As it is still a complete mess and is in desperate need of a not-insignificant amount of work.

Any chance that we'll get indicators for the shield/armor/hull of drones currently in our dronebay, just like the ones in space, in the next couple releases.
It's one of my biggest pet peeves that I cant tell which drones I just pulled in damaged, and which are fully functional and ready to go. Right now it's just a guessing game. |

Ever since Dust 514 came about, the chat window buttons were changed up a bit. Now if I want to disable user list and user avatars in my chat window it takes 4 actions instead of 2.
Would it be possible for you add some default chat appearance or save last used appearance settings and apply them to every new chat that is opened? Like if I prefer "No user list", "Don't show avatars" I wouldn't have to do it for every new conversation or chat window I open, instead, I'd get latest settings I have set for chat window. |

Any chance we could get more items added to the market? The contract system is great and all, but what you don't get is a lot of the historical price information that you would with the market... (that is unless you want to add price charts to specific item contracts...)

Some good changes here, I want to congratulate the team for these improvements as I think you've had a hard time lately and it really is the little things that make a difference sometimes. :)
So cheers! Hurray for the little changes and improvements!
On a sour note - I hate to spoil the party, but, the Overview UI seems more broken by the day. Any chance to look in on it? Maybe something got broken when the tooltips got added? For example, in a mission today, my overview was working after clicking Q (Approach) and E (Keep Away) commands by way of having the input take the next click command (I clicked the Target reticules), but when I switched over to the overview - hit with the focus overview shortcut, I saw it gain focus by the additional line within its outline boundary, but no other keyboard shortcuts were working (on the units it had selected).
They would revert back to waiting for click commands to be issued.
Even though I had overview focus set, I would hit Q (Approach) with the overview selected, and a target selected (as indicated by the overview) and I got the - select a target - response. Ie, keyboard input was not being recognized. I had to just click the rest of the way. I don't like to click, I prefer to use keyboard shortcuts or a combination. :(
I don't think the UI likes a combination of clicking and keyboard commands, currently there is a break somewhere, even when using the 'set overview focus' shortcut to attempt to "bridge" them. I really wish it worked a lot more seamlessly.
Also, what's with the Overview focus being completely gone and non keyboard functional when Undocking or after jumping through a gate? Is this to prevent botters? Unless you click on it with the mouse, it doesn't become active and you can't use it by way of keyboard.
Anyway, good work on these and hope you guys are making progress with your current projects.
Also, if I may be bold enough to request a feature, how about bookmarks in the overview? I posted a thread with an easy way of implementing it, by way of adding a group in overview settings panel, alongside things like 'celestials' with your bookmark folders > you can click on the folders that you want its places displayed in the overview. (To enable/disable). That's the brief explanation, anyway. :)
My extended post is buried somewhere in Features and Ideas. |

On the bomb launcher cooldown/reload, why not have the cooldown displayed the same way the 'cooldown' on any turret/missile launcher is displayed, with the regular cycle timer (and a forced no-auto-repeat), and the reload with the reload timer? Then we can see launch availability using the tools you already have. |
