I look forward to all the other mechanics you will wreck by ramming through massive changes without proper testing. If you guys seriously believe that changes of this magnitude and complexity, larger than Apochrypha, are going to be all sorted with at most 6 weeks of testing on Sisi, you are seriously deluded.
CCP, use whatever common sense you have left, stop listening to your null sec cartel "advisors", and postpone this disaster-in-waiting until the fall, and allow for proper testing on Sisi. I had that problem today. I was trying to finish it remotely. To fix it I went to the station and delivered the jobs and that worked fine.

There are two types of conspiracy theorists. I will provide an example of both.
The birther movement that claims Obama isn't american. No amount of evidence will convince them and they have none of their own. Edward snowden who provided the world with all the evidence available that what the stasi attempted (total knowledge of their citizens) The US and its allies have suceeded in.
Dinsdale belongs in the first camp. There is no point in trying to reason with him. Money at its root is a form of rationing. When the richest 85 people have as much wealth as the poorest 3.5 billion (50% of humanity) it is clear where the source of poverty is. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/jan/20/trickle-down-economics-broken-promise-richest-85 |

I submitted 2 manufacturing jobs prior to downtime. I logged off for the night and when I logged in while this crap was happening, I did not take an update of any kind. I received the fore mentioned delivery error on both completed jobs. So the error was on the server side, and since the players supposedly do not have access to change anything on the server side, it had to come from CCP. Since this was an industry error, it would point to something to do with the upcoming industry changes. I am sure we will never get a straight answer as it took quite a few players to finally get CCP to look at it.

You like making things up since you have a tendency to spin people's comments to your line of thought. I never said they were slow. Maybe spend more time understanding what people are writing instead of rushing though the comments so that you can quickly write a fanboi comment. That way you will not look like a fool.
If CCP knew what the problem was and they fixed it. Why did Explorer dodge the question about what happened? I think it is so they can polish a response. But this is CCP - there is no such thing of them doing stuff like this in the past -- lol Striker Out!! |

Don't bother. the null sec propaganda team is playing apologists for CCP again. Bottom line, it is completely irrelevant if this latest bug was due to changes for industry or not.
This latest glitch can just be added to the long list of unexpected consequences CCP dev's have experienced, and given the enormity of the changes coming on July 22, and the ridiculously short testing window, it is a virtual given we are going to be faced with some pretty broken stuff.
A wise and prudent approach would be to allow for more than the 5-6 weeks of testing available on Sisi. But hey, they already delayed the industry crap once, so it is damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead.

Years and years of experience with developers and DBA's. They show the same behavior all over the world.
If you don't believe that, there is Always option 2 : during Fanfest the CCP building was compromised and the whole thing is now riddled with spycams... All in the spirit of Eve ofc. |

That's a bit harsh. It's perfectly possible to see a problem (=there are rows missing in a table), have a solution (=put rows that are missing back in the table) without actually knowing exactly what caused those rows to disappear in the first place. That can either be an explicit deletion (big error) or an implicit one like some referential integrity rule or a trigger deleted that them (stupid error). It would amaze me if the directors in your company would make statements about errors to the general public without talking to the teams that caused them. |
