Samira Kernher wrote: ... Make war on the Gallente Federation for as long as your nations are at war. But understand that you will not always be at war, and that you may even have to settle for peace. Be ready to accept that, because it will be determined not by you but instead by those to whom you have pledged service. Do your duty as it is commanded of you; don't try to twist or disregard what that duty is just to fulfill your own need for vengeance. That's what separates a professional from a monster.
I don't do vengeance, Lieutenant Kernher, because vengeance is not professional. As for us being aggressors in this war, indeed, from legal point of view we were. But do you remember what they were doing on Caldari Prime right before the war has started? What exactly triggered the war? It wasn't just Noir with his carrier, no, it was the situation on Caldari Prime. And this planet was occupied by Gallenteans all these years. Our planet. The diplomacy has failed to remove this occupation, and when they started to attack us, our culture, we couldn't just sit and watch. We did what we should have done long before: took our planet back.
I am doing my duty as I see fit to protect our citizens, and all human civilization from degradation of gallenteans. I don't even want to take them into the State, I don't want to absorb them like you, or kill them. What I want, is to dismantle their criminal regime, their government.
200 years ago, when they first attacked us, many of other nations, that were oppressed by Federation stood on our defense. Gallenteans used their military force to put riots down, and we were able to stand, while they were put down under black gallentean hand. Since that happened, we have grown, and outgrown the Federation. We stand firm and we can fight them, and we can win. Now it is our turn to pay our debt. We can destroy the Federation, and all these nations, who were standing against gallentean nationalism and tyranny, will be able to do whatever they want.
I don't care what will be with worlds of former Federation, let them choose for themselves what they want to be - and this time, without oppression from gallentean side. |

As for your direct involvement in death or genocide of Caldari people, I have no data available on this matter, but since you are a gallentean, these subjects should be investigated in detail as highly probable.
As the part of me appearing before CBT (since it is the correct judicial Caldari corporation, and not CEP), that would be simply stupid without actual charges against me. Would you like to accuse me in something maybe?
Let me clarify by saying that I invoked the CEP to assure the cluster that I was speaking about the legitimate head of the Caldari State, and not any other potential alternate bodies that claim the title at this time. Now, to try and wade through the pages and pages of conversation that has gone on while I have been asleep... I think Ixiris easily provided us with the terms of reference for your trial, whether undertaken by the CBT or a military tribunal of some decript. Treason. Aiding or conspiring to aid a wanted criminal. You get the idea, there's enough to choose from. Have your day in court, and I'll have mine and we'll see where the rational law puts us. Me? Oh, and try, if you dare, because I would fill your mouth with something else. Say, for example, an antimatter round, launched from 75mm cannon. |

Well, it is a pretty blatant attempt to create a flying dildo. I would argue that the Armageddon looks moreso like one than the Thorax, however.
You know what, let's just call it even and destroy both the Federation AND the Empire. In there place could be a real honour-bound group of pilots, like the CFC. It would truly be a glorious outcome. |

Interesting post, IGS have been rather dull lately; being new here I wish to contribute with my thoughts on the subject.
Democracy itGÇÖs a morally invalid form of government that leads to mob slavery. Democracy is a system where truth and values are decided by popular vote, at the expense of rights and freedom.
A Gallente might argue GÇ£I believe in democracy, but there are limits! Not everything should be decided by a popular vote. Surely the right of an individual to live, or to be free from bondage, should not be decided by a majority vote" ... they cry.
Surely, indeed! The question of whether a class of people lives or dies should never be decided at the ballot box... they argue.
And I agree. But why do these Gallente then turn around and say that your right to property should be subject to democratic control? All rights are evidently not created the same: whereas some are not subject to the dictates of popular will, others apparently are. As we all know this being the catalysts of the divorce between State & Federation.
Since there is no such entity as GÇÿthe public,GÇÖ since the public is merely a number of individuals, the idea that GÇÿthe public interestGÇÖ supersedes private interests and rights can have but one meaning: that the interests and rights of some individuals take precedence over the interests and rights of others. When you speak of GÇ£the will of the people,GÇ¥ you cannot and do not mean all of the people. What you really speak of is the will of whichever group of people has the loudest voices, the most money, the greatest media support, or ultimately the strongest weapons. After all, once GÇ£GalleteanicGÇ¥ legislation is enacted, it is backed up by men with guns
At the bottom of the endless pile of paper work which characterizes all regulation lies a gun.

Well said, Mr. Shale! I just want to add, that democracy is a system, where voice of janitor has the same weight as a voice of a scientist. Running a society by mob rule is not humane, it leads to degradation and degeneration.
In order for society to be progressive and prosper, only the merited shall rule. |

Disappointed? Tell it to crews of all the ships I have destroyed so far. Tell it to those, who died in the wrecks, that I popped because my salvage crew were too far away to collect remains and make sure no one survived. Tell it to dead clones and destroyed assets.

The State won't win. It can't win, any more than the Federation can "win," because the militia war can't be won. Both sides have on more than one occasion occupied the entirety of the other side's territory, and neither side have "won." The militia war cannot be won. It's not designed to be winnable. The war isn't even between the State and Federation's respective navies, it's between capsuleer militias - essentially paramilitaries who have been given a franchise. Militia members have no legal authority to do anything other than fight each other. They are not official representatives of their respective nations.
The only thing that seperates the militia war from any territory conflict between nullsec capsuleer alliances is that you get to wave an empire's flag while doing it. Mane 614
