Hello all, The past few days I've been travelling around trying to find a good place to settle down and start working on generating funds to buy a crusier. I'm looking for a place with the following:
- Caldari combat agents.
- Good ore with high/good selling price.
- Close to places to buy new skills/ship modules. (I hate having to fly 10 jumps just to get a skill or module)
- (Possibly) close to some lower spec space so I can go rat hunting when I get my cruiser.
- Between 0.7 and 0.5 space. (I need a place where I can anchor a secure container and won't get attacked by things in 0.4 space)
If anyone can suggest some good Caldari systems that match as many of the above criteria as possible then that would be great. The reason I ask for Caldari is becuase I want combat agent missions. I haven't had much luck finding combat agents in other race's regions.
It's just a shame Caldari systems don't have kernite ore or I would be in heaven! That plagioclase and pyroxeres stuff gets you no money at all. Kemik |

try jita or surrounding areas like new caldari for agents, good area to mine from and hi sec space-try looking at nuken area as well-approx 5 jumps from jita-good bunch of guys from eve university fly out of korsiki next system over-thye will always give out info to non members on missions, ship setup etc. just join eve-uni channel and ask irrlian - he is on most days-you doing have to be in the corp to join the channel-hope that is some help to you

I found Saatuban (sp?) quite good in early days. Has a good mix of Caldari corps (Wiyrkumi Peace Corps are warmongers btw) and a Science and Trade station for skills.
It is 0.6 iirc, so better for agent whoring while still Empire protected and better level of NPC's (and *Sev's face contorts in disgust* roids) in belts.
Best of luck.

I saw a squirrel today jumping from one tree to another, the branch it landed on snapped. So the squirrel was on this falling branch, clambering like mad, thinking it was doing something about it.'

at the danger of sounding like mum:
i. depends a lot on your standings. Check you map for a high quality level 1, or if you dare, a level 2 agent.
ii. kernite for starts in 0.6, but is mined out pretty quickly. Pyroxeres should be a good alternative in caldari space, but might suffer the same. Check the market for areas with good prices.
iii. The main hub would be jita. For skills, just make sure you are close to school type corporation.
iv. map :)
v. map again :)
A seperate note: any popular system will have low ore, but high availibility. you are always trading one for the other. Also, if you have an idea what you want to specialise in, do it. You seem to be mining along with npcing/missioning. If you specialise in one or the other you will make more money from it. If you are still experimenting, feel free to ignore the last bit :)

Definatly try Haatomo and Suroken. 2 systems right next door to each other, with nice agents from lvl 1's to 3's (although the lvl 3's aren't the best quality) 6 jumps from Jita, iirc ...
Fly Safe, and Good Luck!

Haatamo is great. There are is are Agents Level I +17 and a +18 in the same station for Caldari Navy. I am trying Waira now because it is a .5 system.
