Edited by: MasterOfDDesaster on 09/06/2006 10:06:48 Hello all,
I trying to do the Lev 4 Worlds Collide mission in a Dominix. Can anybody recommend me a good tactics and setup? I was running a Large T2 repper (running all the time)and was tanked for therm and kinetic but the tank failed, since all ships aggro me.
Any ideas, or better experiences?
Thank you in advance, Master |

4 x 250mm Railgun II (Yep, cruiser sized for killing cruisers) 2 x Heavy (Best Named) NOS
5 x Best Cap Rechargers you can afford, preferably splash out on T2 if you plan on using the domi for a long period of time.
2 x Large T2 Armor Repper 2 x Thermal Hardeners 2 x Kinetic Hardeners 1 x Cap Power Relay
1 x Assload of drones.
Usually does the trick for me.
You also have the option of switching a Cap Recharger out for a 100mn Afterburner, if you're scout drone skill isn't up to par and you need the extra speed to get in range of the BS to launch your drones.
Also, the Serpentis side is much easier than the Guristas side IMO.

Edited by: Eden Hawk on 09/06/2006 11:11:21 i thought all worlds collide missions were in deadspace? U cannot bookmark a location within deadspace and rejump back to it.Eve automatically rewarps you to the original warp in spot in deadspace thats why its called "deadspace". Unless your extremly lucky and u dont have deadspace on yours for which i am truly envious...

Hmm, I was sure you could do that. Either way, upon initial warp in you should land 100km away from everything and should only get initial aggro from the Serpentis NPCs. Snipe, etc etc etc

I have done world collide many times in my domi, and this is the setup I use: High: 6 * 425 prototype railguns Mid: gisti xlarge shield booster, thermal hardener t2, kinetic hardener t2, 2 * named shield boost amplifier Low: 2 * magnetic field stabilisers t2, 5 * power diagnostic units t2
I also use sentry drones for cruisers/bs, and medium t2 drones for frigs or faster cruisers.

Thank you all for the good fitting hints. At least I know now, that this mission isn't bugged / undoable Unfortunately I won't be able to fit all the T2 stuff / have the ISK for it, but I try to find a workaround. I think with a cap 800 booster in the mid and 2 large T2 repairer it might work to kill many rats until you can tank the rest.
An other idea was to run a 6 point armor tank on the Domi and get a pal with an Exequror and small solace remote repairs. Or I keep the 4 point forever running LT2REP tank and use the pal with the Exequror as well.
Many thanks to all for the good setups. I will test them as T1 version, hopefully it works
Master
P.S.: Any more suggestions are welcome
