Supers still need more buffing. CCP can start by giving them back a regular drone bay. As for the OP - shut up and quit your bellyaching. A supercarrier shouldn't die due to 1 or 2 hictors, it should take a proper fleet with support to take one down. |

I agree. they should be massive chunks of metal with massive dps and tank.
But i also think their price tag needs to be massive as well.
and tbh 20-30b just dont cut it. I think it should be a choice ship as your locked into it like a titan. it should be choice super or titan and around the same price 100b +. hull alone |

I say disconnect capitals and sub-capitals while making them interdependent:
Remove the ability of capitals to target and require them a sub-capital for target acquisition. Make capitals highly resistant to sub-capital weapons. Now it needs sub-caps for caps to do anything and it needs caps to kill caps. Logistics are applied through the fleet interface instead of targeting (add a new e-war named transfer disruption and specialized ships). Fighters and fighter bombers need to be assigned (add a specialized ship for this role). XL guns can't hit anything in the same grid anymore but reach out up to 0.25 AU (depending on weapon and ammunition) for cross-grid assaults and POS Deathstar defence grids.

in null sec i dont see a problem cos u can use a light dictor or 3 to keep the supers trapped
however in low sec this might be an issue where dictor bubbles are not allowed |

Granted that fit is probably mildly OP against sub-capitals but it also means that your gimping that super from its main purpose or many other ways that people do use supers.

You're absolutely right. These changes don't go far enough. Let's restore remote AOE doomsdays for Titans while we're at it! Also they should be able POS-bowl again, that was cool! Then we can remove the stacking nerf for modules, and run around all day in 8 heat sink Apocs fighting invulnerable supercaps until the server melts.
Then we can all play a nice, balanced* MMO like Star Citizen.

Ah, but you see, there are 2 things that CCP mouths, but does not follow through with.
1. The game is supposed to be rock/paper/scissors where every ship has an Achilles' heel. 2. Cost of ship is not supposed to guarantee invincibility, and an order of magnitude difference in cost only buys you a slight improvement.
Both those arguments are thrown back at players who complain about the fact that T2 cruisers are only marginally better than their T1 counterparts, and will certainly be used when fozzie destroys the value of T3's.
But when it comes to supercaps, those arguments are suddenly supposed to hold no water.
NATO runs war game every year, and every so often we hear about how a diesel-electric sub manages to get through a screen and "kills" a Nimitz class carrier, worth about 30 times more. No navy on the planet sends out carriers unescorted, because they are sitting ducks for certain kinds of warfare.
If the real world was like Eve, every nation that could afford 100,000 ton supercarriers would build just them, and send them all over the world alone, or in groups, with no sub, frigate, or destroyer escorts, because those carriers would be invulnerable to everything else but a larger group of carriers. My point is that supercarriers recieved an effective 140% increase to fighter damage, 100%+ increase to fighter hp, and with a couple omnis and nav computers, a significant increase to not only how fast fighters get in position to apply their dps, but how accurately and effectively they can do so, WHEN fit for full fighter use.

I'm guessing with a fit like that unless he stopped to refit for cap regen, you don't even need hics, just set FBs on it or even fighters, keep it neuted below jump cap and let nature run its course - even if it warps off its not going anywhere.
